A vampire bat flies into its cave, its face completely covered in blood. Suddenly hundreds of other thirsty bats are flying around it.
"Where did you get the blood?" one bat asks.
"I can't tell you," he replies.
Please, please tell us, the bats plead and beg. But he refuses to tell.
As he is trying to sleep, all the bats continue to plead with him, and he just can't get any sleep. "Where did you get the blood?" they continue to ask.
Finally he gives in. "Follow me," he cries, and flies from the cave with hundreds of thirsty bats in hot pusuit.
Suddenly they are in the middle of a forest and all the excited bats are milling around him. "Tell us, tell us," they shout.
"Do you see that gigantic oak tree over there?" he asks.
Micro horror stories are something I could never do or publish because I would be publishing way too many authors in one volume. I like the story though. Kind of sick, but good though. I found your link from a review that you did of Sacrifice. I also read the book too after working with her on a few projects.
