Dear Rebekkah Rachel~

Hey, girlfriend! Welcome home! I'm sooo glad you're out of that prison they call a hospital; here's hopin' y'all will feel better soon!

'Tis me, your gal pal, Ronee'. I'm doing fabulous--performing just about every weekend, trying not to get "the big head" about my audition for "America's Got Talent" (I made it; I'll be going to Las Vegas, Nevada, for the semi-finals; I have a chance to compete for the finals--and the chance to win one million dollars!!), enjoying my continuing streak of good health (well, I did fall the other day; have a nice goose egg right on the middle of my forehead, but I'm otherwise okay!), and just enjoying life.

I tripped over my stupid canes. Leave it to ME to do something like that! LOL

I performed again this past weekend (Cajun festival here in Nashville); my band "Cajun Spice" and I performed Friday and Saturday evening from 6 to 6:30 p.m. We had a ball; we always do when we perform! The big attraction was "BeauSoleil", who only happenes to be THE premier Cajun music act around; they're world-famous! They're super! I've seen 'em scads of times; they're a great group of guys, both on the stage and off. I also snarfed out on all that great Cajun food! YUM!! :P

Johnny was so happy to see you the other day. He was really worried about you. When he got back from seeing you, I swear he was about to float out from his wheelchair! He had the biggest smile on his face!

I certainly hope the rest of your summer gets better for you. Lord knows, y'all could use a huge break from all your medical troubles!

Tomorrow Johnny and I officially turn 14 1/2. I don't know what we'll do to celebrate our "half-birthday", but I bet a party is in there somewhere. My family always throws a party for us; that way, our actual birthdays (they're in December) aren't forgotten or shoved aside from all the excitement that is Christmas. (My birthday falls ON Christmas Day; Johnny's birthday is the day after Christmas.) Tomorrow will no doubt be fun; it always is! :)

How are your parents? Your family? Susie? I heard from reliable sources that she's doing better, that she's even thinking of doing a book. That is too cool! :) I wrote a book when I was ten/eleven years old, a few years back, called "People Say No, But God Says Yes!: My Story"; I've heard nothing but positive feedback about it, which makes me feel good! (I'm thinkin' of writing a sequel.) Do you think you'll ever do a book? I think you should; you have quite a story to tell yourself about your life!

Guess what! Ringaling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey Circus is coming to Nashville in July (in a few weeks). We're going; we always go to "The Greatest Show On Earth" when it's in town. My favorites are the clowns and the acrobatic acts. The acrobats leave me breathless, and the clowns  make me laugh, particularly the pair known as "Monday" and "Slappy". They're hilarious! LOL

Well, Rebekkah, I gotta' go. I'm going to Kenya's house and go swimming for an hour or so; then I'll be back and eat lunch. Daddy's cooking hamburgers, hot dogs, and steak on the grill; we're going to have a picnic, seeing the weather's so beautiful. Might as well take advantage of it and enjoy it!
