Omigosh I just woke up from a dream or maybe it was one of those 'nightmares.' You people know all about those dreams where you are just so happy to wake up from and those other dreams which you just 'hate' waking up from. Well this was that dreadful first one, you know the one where you're running away from the boogyman or you are about to dreaded final exam and have not studied a lick or it is the night before you are supposed to write a 50 page thesis and you haven't written a sentence? You people who went to college probably know all about that.
Anyways I had a dream that my corporate minded college professor father took me to this 'Corporate Professionals and all their succesful sons and daughters dinner' at what else? The Corporate Club. Anyways I'm sitting there with Father while I'm seeing Old and filthy rich man 'CEOs' daughter Mindy who recently graduated from Swarthmore and how she got accepted as a trainee with a big name Investment Bank making her long winded speech. Then I see 'Old Partner at a Blue Chip Law Firm' introduce his son Chauncey who recently graduated for Princeton and will being head of to Yale Law School make his dull and boring speech. While these long winded speeches are going on I keep on looking at my watch and try to fight dozing off.
Anyways the President of the Corporate Club, who happens to be a rich and famous gynecologist and has such an accent that I have no idea what he is saying, comes to the dais and says, "now let me introduce Ms Cheryl Larouche, a recent graduate of prestigious Quincy College and is daughter of the noted economist, Dr Charles Larouche. Ms Larouche?"
Well I just cooly walk to the dais and after thanking everyone, look at that snotty gynecologist, who asks me "So Ms Larouche what are your current plans?"
I look at him sqaure in the eyes and say. "Well Mr Snotty Gynecologist, my current plans are that I am a struggling waitress at an LA coffeeshop and that I would rather starve, starve than take some stuffy corporate job. Also you need to call me Fifi, I can't stand being called Cheryl. With that I would like to end my speech with these words. BOOLAH BOOLAH BOOLAH." I then look at the shocked reaction of that gynecologist, the CEO, the Lawyer, their stuck up kids, of course my father and all the other members of the Corporate Club. Of course I then wake up because you know like I said it was a nightmare and thank God all nightmares come to an end when you wake up.
