Dear Journal~

Anh Kim here. I am doing well; have been enjoying the break from college; go back in a few weeks; back to the books. I have been home here in Tennessee since June, and it's been great being with the family, getting to know my newest brothers and sisters (Arjun, Opal Lee, Emma-Ruth, Bjorn, Rani, Emir Muhammed, Gabriel, and Vijay). Now mama and daddy have a new foster child on their hands, a little boy named Vincente, who is as cute as a bug.

Mama is getting big: she is only six months along in her pregnancy, but she looks like she is about to pop any minute. She is carrying twins, both boys, and the doctor wants her to stay in bed as much as possible; if up, she wants mama to use a wheelchair. She doesn't want mama walking at all, lest she should happen to fall. She will be on medical/maternity leave for the next year or so; don't know how the money is going to come for the bills, but somehow God always provides.

Mama is going to name the twins Ian Charles and Isaiah Cameron. I like those names. Ian Charles and Isaiah Cameron Sandusky. Hmm. Sounds very aristocratic! I just hope she will be able to handle two newborn boys after they come when she already has more kids she can handle now as it is! This is going to be one Christmas our family will remember for the ages!

Don't need to be worrying about that, but I do; after all, that is my mama I'm talkin' about!

I graduate in a year; been enjoying my experiences at Oral Roberts University. Am still considering on becoming a preacher; I would love to have my own church! I hope I continue to do well in my studies!

Johnny is doing okay; as well as expected, but his disease (muscular dystrophy) is getting worse. Very upsetting, but it's a miracle he's lasted this long; most kids with Duchenne's don't do nearly as well as Johnny has been doing. Maybe God has some huge plans for his future; that's why he is doing so good. Hope it lasts!

Ronee' is sporting a big, bright pink cast on her foot: she fell, broke her ankle, while getting the mail. She is also using her crutches again (has been complaining the whole time, too; she keeps saying the crutches keep biting her elbows; she has the marks on her elbows to back that claim, the poor kid! LOL). She will be on the crutches for at least another month, which means when school starts back up in a few weeks, she'll still be on the crutches/cast.

Arjun had gotten stung a few weeks ago, on the lip; he had a nice fat lip for a while, but I guess this will teach him not to be kissing any more honeybees anytime soon! Silly kid! Oh, the things kids do to stir up some excitement! LOL

I am still cancer-free, according to my last appointment with Dr. Emmons. Great news there; I am always so worried that it will come back. I pray it doesn't. I already have had cancer twice; I don't need it again! (I see my doctor every month for bloodwork and MRI scans, to make sure the cancer isn't returning. So far it hasn't.)

Since being home, I have been doing my old job of delivering papers; I have been doing this since I was 11 years old, right before I got the leukemia. Still enjoying it now; I have had a wonderful boss in Mr. Gladstone, and I have a wonderful customer base. I love my customers, and I know they love me. *grins* At least, I hope they do!

Weather here been extremely dry; we are in the midst of a horrid drought while other parts of the country (the midwest, the central plains) are getting too much in the way of rain. More rain expected in parts of this area, where they don't need it! Crazy weather we have been having lately; wondering if it is the sign of things to come. They say in the last days the weather will be extreme, and it will get to the point to where one won't be able to tell one season from the next; I am certain this is coming to pass.

Signs of the Second Coming, perhaps?? Could be...

In any way, come soon, Lord Jesus; You can't come soon enough!

Well, I am going to call my girlfriend, Thuy. Yes, you heard right. I have a girlfriend, Thuy Kim Duc. She's in several of my classes at Oral Roberts; I have known her for over a year, and she's one year younger than me. She is really nice. Like me, she is Vietnnamese, really cute. I will have to introduce my folks to her; I just hope she can get over the shock once she first sees my family! *grins*
