Dear Audrey~
I know you are probably wanting to throw this letter out once you do get it, or not have anything to do with us, due to the recent fight with my wife, Louie, but Audrey, please do hear me out. I heard about what happened to your oldest daughter, Susie, that she is now in a catatonic state, and I wanted to offer you my support/prayers.
I am very sorry this happened. I know this was invariably due to happen sometime in her life after all that has happened to her; still, it is upsetting, and I wanted to let you know that I care. So does Louie. She has been crying steadily since receiving the news yesterday; she somehow feels that she is responsible for what's happened. Louie is also emotional because of Vincente's arrival (he came four days ago) and is now on medical/maternity leave for a year. She has to spend the next few months in bed (if up, she has to use a wheelchair).
She is not going to like not being able to take care of the children or not working, but her OB-GYN wants her to stay off her feet as much as possible to prevent the risk of her falling; she also wants Louie to try to carry the twins to term. This next year will be hard financially, very hard, not only for her, but for us; yet we know we will prevail with the Lord's help; He never fails us!
Is there anything we can do? If not, do know this: we will definitely be praying hard for Susie. All you have to do is call or e-mail us; but only if it is what you choose. We won't force ourselves on you; we'll give you some space if that is what you want. I know you probably don't want to have anything to do with us, but I want to continue being your friend.
I am concerned about you, about Rick, about the girls; you are probably feeling vulnerable right now. You shouldn't have to face something like this alone; this is one reason why I am writing. I hope you understand this. We are praying for a Miracle for Susie. It may not look good right now, but don't give up hope--or on God. He is as close to you as your right hand; He is right there, beside you, and he will never, ever leave or forsake you!
Well, Audrey, I am going to go now. Louie is calling for me; she needs to use the restroom. I will have to get the wheelchair ready for her and help her; I don't want her walking unnecessarily. I also have to get the kids up; they are being little slugs this morning; they don't want to get out of bed! LOL I also have to get Jodie's feeding tube ready, so she can "eat". That always takes a little time.
Take care, and again, if you need anything, anything at all, please don't hesitate to call or keep in touch. May God be with you during this time, and tell Susie we love her and are pulling hard for her!
Suffering children seems like an anachronism after creating a child that could give us a happy smile.
My heart aches.
Thank for make the world aware that their pain isn't that great compared with a sick child.

Bill has enough on his hands, and now another worry: his wife being pregnant with twins, and now Susie's illness...too much stress for one man to handle! Excellently penned, Karen, well done.
Suspenseful and close to home, Rain of Deception 2 will leave you in Tears. Much like Part 1, this will shocking sequel will keep you on the edge of your fingertips.
A poignant story about letting go of a narcissist in your life. Have you ever been attacked FULL force by a narcissist? It's the closest thing to being stabbed over and over in the back.
