It’s a major trip. When the one you love; betrays your trust. Than brush you off like dusk. Insulting your intelligence. Like you're nothing but a fool. Than shouting out loud, like James Brown might do. “I’d never do anything to hurt you, my love is true ." You're already disappointed and hurt you feel it’s indescribable. Than you converse in your own mind; until you finally find; a way to ease the pain. Something that says I’m better than. This so call love I’m being given. You began to justify what’s been done knowing it’s a lie with a lasting injury regardless of what you do that causes things to change. The pure love you felt now contains a stain. You look at your loved one knowing things will never be the same. And they know within themselves they must come up with a game plan. Since it’s a game they began. They expect to win. So the subject of your grief isn't even around for you to release any of this hurt pain or negative energy. They prefer to guard their heart and not have you tear it apart with accusations or confirmations that may take away; Away from the ego bust they got from the sweet love of you. Or the game play they have no intentions to loose. I guess there’s a need for space to gain composure of what the next step will be as he or she role plays each scene in their mind to be especially prepared if there’s any concern or care. If there’s a need for self preservation and future determination. There’s more for them at stake so they're seeking and searching for each and everyway to come out on top. What you have to do is look and see what’s more important to you. How much are you worth. What’s the price you wanna pay? And just how much dirt. Can you handle each day. Or you can make up in your mind. To take responsibility this time. Stand guard at your own heart. Make a conscious decision. Realize who it is that gives the permission. It’s your life you’re living. Than simply say “I’m out”. Out of the games you play. It’s a brand new day. Truth and reality is my way. I enjoyed your touch indeed. So very much. It was a blast while it lasted. But the thrill is gone and I’m moving on. I like to feel good like anyone else would. I reject your absence of love and accept love in action. I won't player hate and I won't be your mate.
