Jenna Aurora is busy getting ready for the birth of her second child, another little boy. She also writes about what is new with her and her family and her friends.

Weds., Sept. 12, 2007, Anchorage, Alaska~

Dear Journal~

Hey, it's just li'l ol' me, Jenna Aurora.

I am doing well: Michael is doing well, and so is Mattaq. Mattaq is learning how to say his name and the names of our cats (we now have five cats, "Hummer", "Chevrolet", "Cat-tilac", "Pawntiac", and ""Mercedes" (as in Mercedes-Benz); don't ask me why Michael decided to name our cats after cars, but he did! LOL We have a crazy household now! LOL

My new son to be is using my bladder as a kickball court. He keeps kicking me; it seems like every hour or so I am having to go pee because he gives my bladder a royal workout. It's really a pain! I will be soooo glad when he's born! My poor bladder can use a break! LOL

I heard from Louie a few days back; she emailed me on the computer. She is doing well, but she's on bedrest, and if she is up she has to use a wheelchair: the doctor doesn't want her walking, in case she should happen to fall. That's not good, especially if one is pregnant like she (and I) both are. Too many risks, too much of a chance that the baby could end up damaged--or worse, dead.

The family is gettiing big, she said; she thinks she may have gone overboard on the adoptions. The state is now investigating her, to make sure she isn't abusing or neglecting the chidren (she isn't), and she aays that it is unnerving. She is so scared that the children are going to be taken away from her; I don't know what she would do if that were to happen. I know that it would probably devastate her to no end.

Heard from Sikik Eegeesiak in Barrow; she says that she is busy with her writing, and trying to manage her health problems. She says it is getting colder every week up that way; she says the lows are in the teens, and the highs are in the 30's. Brrrr! Too cold for me! LOL (Not really, but at least it's better than the heat; having multiple sclerosis, I cannot tolerate the heat; it makes me sick.)

I will have to write to both Louie Sandusky and Sikik Eegeesiak when I can get some free time; with the cats, a hungry husband, and an active little toddler around, free time is not an option for me.

The weather here in Anchorage is cooling down; fall colors are starting to appear; very pretty. It won't be long before we have our first frost--or our first snow, as a matter of fact. The auroras are starting to appear in the night sky when it's clear; I love watching the auroras, but when they turn all red, I get worried. They got red on Tuesday the 11th, I was so scared we'd get attacked again; but thank GOD nothing happened. I am so relieved! I just hope that they capture bin Laden soon; he is dangerous, and he needs to be taken out as soon as possible!

We went to the 9-11 observances at the local high school; it was intensely moving, and I don't think I cried as much as I did then as I remembered the victims and the horrors of that day. I still have nightmares about it even now, and I don't sleep well, especially if I end up watching the news.

Well, I am going to go; Mattaq is crying; the light is flashing, to let me know. I will write again soon; take care and God bless!

~Love, Jenna Aurora. :)
