Meowsie and Cajun's brother, Furball, shares his story.
Hey, I'm not gonna' let Meowser get ALL the credit! Let me share MY side of the story!
My name's Furball. I AM one, too. ALL fur! I have medium long fur on my body, longer on my britches and legs, and my tail is long, full, and flowing. It's so long I can easily wrap it around my body when I lie down to go to sleep. I am a tortie with white (tortoiseshell patterning with white paws, chest, and stomach), and I have big green eyes.
I am a Maine Coon. I am one of America's oldest breeds of cats; my Ancestors were reputed to be brought to America by the Pilgrims in the 1600's, and we are known to Cat Lovers as "The Gentle Giant". We may be large and in charge, but underneath our hugenss beats the heart of a teddybear. We're all softies when it comes to pleasing our Human Masters!
I am one of several cats. I have one brother named "Stripes" and four sisters named "Tisket", "Genevieve", "Meowser", and "Cajun". We did live together when we were small, but when we were old enough, our Mamma made us go into the wide, open World.
We never saw each other again. I wonder now if they are even alive. I do know that two went to different Human Families here in the Nashville, Tennessee metro area, but as for the other three, I have no clue as to where they are.
I wonder if they even remember me. I wonder if they even miss me.
It's enough to break my little PussyCat heart whenever I think of my brothers and sisters; I miss them all so much! *Snif! Pardon me while I wipe my eye with my paw...*
My Humans go by the last name of Chapham. My Big Humans are named Mommy and Daddy, but they go by Human Names (The Man's name is Charlie, and The Woman's Name is Ellie), and the Little Humans (they are called Children in the Human Tongue) are named David, Daniella, Dillon, and the Baby, Dalton. I like the Kids, but Dalton is a grabby, noisy Little Thing. He makes me nervous! He also sometimes smells BAD, like he neds his Litterbox changed! PEW!
I will have to try to do a search on my brothers or sisters, see if I can locate them. I'd love to see 'em again!
Well, this is Furball signing off. I have to rest my paws; typing on a Big Computer is awful' hard on a Kittycat! Bye for now! Meoww!

That kittycat should try some cajun prepared fish, it would make it fly!!!!!!

... It's a wonder Furball's paws are resting anywhere other than on the computer's mouse! I admire his restraint and consideration... truly a Gentle Giant! :)) This is soooo cute, Karen, and I love the bit about little Dalton's litterbox... Cat's must think we are disgusting to go about wearing them! I would love to hear of tales of FB finding his siblings, too... Hope it works out for him.
