Another one of the members of "Meower's" family shares her "paw"tobiography.
My name is Cajun. I'm a Maine Coon cat.
I have a wonderful family of Humans that I live with; but my main Human is MyRonee'; she is the one who plays with me most, brushes me, feeds me, just takes care of me.
I share my Family with other Animals: Dogs, Birds, a Goat, Hamsters, Gerbils, even Fish. We get along great (most of the time!).
I do have some Furry brothers and sisters; I am one of six: "Tisket", "Meowser", "Stripes, "Genevieve", and "Furball". They were adopted by some other Humans; I wonder if they ever remember me or think of me.
I sure do miss them.
Like most Maine Coons (that's the kind of Cat I am), I love to play; doesn't matter if it's with a ball of yarn, string, leaves on the ground, bugs, mice, other Humans, big or small: as long as it's interesting, I'll play with it. I have a very ladylike "purr"sonality, but if provoked in any way, I WILL hiss, I WILL strike back when you least expect it. *WHAP* I'll belt you a good one with my paw! I may be a lady, but I ain't afraid to speak my mind!!
I even give my Paw to the Dogs if they get on my case. MyRonee' 's mommy has a little three-pound Dog called a Pomeranian; yet she has learned to stay out of my way when I'm in one of my Hissy Moods. I don't know why dogs get such joy out of sniffin' my butt; I find that annoying--not to mention, pure-t disgusting! YUCH!
She's done that way too many times, or else she'll bark her fool head off while I am trying to sleep; you DON'T want to wake me up when I'm asleep! Noooo, NOT a good idea!!
Besides playing, I also like to purr, meow, listen to music (Cajun music's my favorite, but I like anything--as long as it's NOT rap!), lay on my Human's lap, be brushed (ahhhh, that's pure bliss to a pussycat! There's nothing more satisfying than the feel of a hairbrush runnin' through my fur; oh, that feels sooo gooooooooood! *purr*), and eat. Typical cat activities. I also like to lay on the computer and watch the Humans type away on the computer; their fingers move so fast on the keyboards! I also like trying to get at the mouse, but the Humans get annoyed when I do this.
I don't know why; I'm only tryin' to have some fun!!
Well, I am going to go now. Time to get my beauty nap. A KittyCat's gotta' look good, you know, especially one as good lookin' as me! I'm a Diva; I gotta' look my best for my fans (most notably, MyRonee'!). :D

Ahhhh....Karen....what a gorgeous cat, and lovely little tale about this special breed.

I feel the same way Cajun, my owner dosent like it when I lie on her Keypad, or flick my tail at her...hmmmmm must be a human thing. I just want to play as well.
