Dear Journal~
I know, I know. I should be home, in bed. I'm supposed to be on bedrest, but I got clearance from my doctor, said that since I was behaving, I got to go out for the day (but no walking at all, have to spend my day sittin' down!). I am so happy; I was starting to get cabin fever--and it isn't hardly autumn yet! LOL
I am at church, should be listening to the praise and worship, but I had to get this in quick; I am too happy for words. Everyone has been coming around, telling me how glad they are to see me up, that they have been praying for me, etc. Everyone has been so nice, and when I came in the door, Pastor Bilkey and his wife, Toni, both embraced me in a warm, loving hug.
After church, I am going out to eat with Bill and the gang. We are going to Golden Corral today. It will be good to eat some restaurant food; I have been eating soup and healthy food; I need some junk food to sustain me! LOL Get my energy levels up! LOL
Then, after THAT, I am going to go to the hospital; I actually get to visit Johnny and Ronee'! I know Johnny is doing better, and I know Ronee' is in pain, but I think they will be thrilled to see me, their ol' mamma! I have been missing them both terribly!
I don't know what we are going to do after the hospital, after I get done seeing Johnny and Ronee': maybe go to the evening services at church, maybe go to Dairy Queen for a quick bite before; it all depends on how I feel by this evening. Maybe I'll end up going back to the house and crawl back into bed; I really do need to rest more.
I am looking forward to my meal and seeing the kids; I also have the support/love of my church family, the love of my Saviour; this is what's getting me through this hard patch in my life.
I could very well feel sorry for myself for not being able to do much, but I have a legitimate excuse, and I don't want to jeopardize the health of my twin boys, so I have to lay low until they're born.
I hope you understand. I may be writing a lot in my journal, and I hope you don't get sick of me, but I really have nothing else to do. I have to keep myself entertained somehow!
Well, Pastor Bilkey is about to pray, and then deliver his sermon, so I'd better go. Take care and God bless; will talk in a few days!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend, Louie May. :D
