Dear Journal~
Louisiana here. I am doing okay; still parked in the bed, gettin' fatter (not to mention, lazier) by the day! LOL My twins are really givin' my bladder what for; seems I have to call for Bill to help me to the toilet every five/ten minutes! LOL
Bill and kids have been busy putting up the fall decorations, getting the pumpkins ready for the trick-and-treaters that will come calling come Hallowe'en time. We are also gearing up for the Harvest Festival, which will take place at our church on Hallowe'en night.
We are already thinking of what to get the kids for Christmas. They want all the latest gadgets; we are going to have to put our foot down and say no; with our huge family we can't afford such luxurires; thay are going to have to settle for smaller (inexpensive) gifts this year.
Rebekkah is doing much better; having therapy every day. She even called us last week; it was so nice to hear her voice! Susie is coming along too, but she still acts like she's trying to hide something; will have to keep praying for her.
So far Johnny's managed to stay out of the hospital, breathing just fine (for the moment), and Ronee' is just about over her flare. She still has some residual pain, but is able to tolerate it. She is arguing with her crutches, keeps threatening to throw them across the room. She really wants her canes back!
Tri and Arjun are sick (Arjun's been sick twice now); the boys have runnin' bowels and upset tummies; Bill is keeping them banished to their room, so they don't infect the other children. NICE. That's one thing we DON'T need: a houseful of sick kids!!
The weather is overcast today; we may get rain by tomorrow. May even have a chance of severe as a cold front approaches from the north and west. Hope not; don't feel like cleaning up storm damage!
Haven't heard from Kendra in a while; hope she is okay. I will have to call her.
Well, this isn't much, but I can't seem to get my mind together today. Must be the allergies; they are really kickin' me in the tail! Take care and God bless; will write in here again!
