Ronee' is worried about things going on around her.
Tuesday, October 23, 2007, nearly five in the morning, Nashville, Tennessee (woke up early, can't get back to sleep)~
Dear Journal~
Ronee' here. I woke up at three, couldn't get back to sleep, so here I am. I decided to write in here, to sort out my feelings.
Yesterday I saw Rebekkah Rachel and her family; it was so good to see them, but Rebekkah looks like an old lady. Her face is all tense and worried, and I am most concerned about her. She looked tired; well, can you blame her? She just spent oodles of hours cooped up on an airplane! She must have jet lag deluxe!!
Now stuff is happening with Louisa Mason. As to what, I have no clue; however, maman is acting all worried. I don't want maman to worry; I don't want her to go into premature labor; she can't afford it right now. My mom is a great mom, but she worries too much about others and not enough on herself. That's not good!
Daddy keeps telling maman to take a chill pill, yet maman continues to worry. It drives me nutz!! Daddy says I am just like her: I am a worrier, too.
Well? Can you blame me? I have killer classes at school, I have homework out the wazoo (okay, it's done, but still--I have homework just about every night!), I have my stupid health to worry about (I fell just a while ago; I didn't hurt myself, but I did pinch my elbow with my crutch cuff; ow!! That's gonna' leave a mark!! I'm also gonna' feel it later on! OW!), and I have my stupid surgery to worry about!
Yeah, I'm having surgery on my hands come January. My hands are all messed up, having problems with them. I'll be glad to get them done, but in the meantime, what am I supposed to do after the surgery is over? How am I going to take care of myself? I will need help with everything, and I will probably have to sit in my wheelchair again until my hands heal because then I can't use my crutches!! ARRGGGH!!
Johnny is doing much better (or as well as can be expected), but he isn't getting better physically. His attitude is good, and he's managed to stay out of the hospital now for about a month, which is rare for him lately. He now has to be on the oxygen 24-7, and his doctors say he may need to be on a ventilator or have a tracheostomy tube put in place around Christmas. Not good!
School is going pretty good, but I hate all the homework I have to do!! I spend at least two to five hours a night on homework alone, which wrecks any chances of doing things with my friends or going to concerts, which can be a drag. I am starting to get moldy from being in my room so darned much!!
I think the teachers dream about giving extra homework when they go to sleep at night---
The weather has turned COLD!! BRR!! It was like summer for the longest time; now it's like fall has FINALLY arrived! I have on my winter nightgown, socks to keep my feet warm, and slip on slippers for further warmth! When my feet get cold, they hurt, and then I get cold all over; I then can't get warm!!
Well, I am going to try to go back to sleep; no school for me today; teacher's inservice day. I guess I will take my homework in tomorrow; it'll just be a day late, but at least it's completed!! On that note, goodnight! C ya!
We just have to remember those brighter days ahead and that everything happens for the best, as Georg says we can all use some of those pills. Thanks for sharing.
Just one question dear Ronee, where I can find a vial of those "Chill-Pills"? certainly I could use them around here, hahahahahahaha
Good look with surgery, everything tha's done to make us better is an improvement not a set back and tomorrow you will be feeling stronger.
Always cheering you up, Georg
