Dear Journal~
Katrina (Kat) here. Hope this finds y'all well; I am doing just fine, unlike past entries.
My health has improved markedly: I am able to work now; am working with my husband, at his Jeep store. I'm a receptionist; handling requests, orders, fielding phone calls, while Frank does the heavy-duty stuff, the lion's share of the work.
No longer am I blacking out unexpectedly due to low blood pressure: finally have some medicine to take care of that. I also have felt stronger physically, am even able to walk short distances on a pair of crutches! It is doubtful whether I can ever walk fully again, on my own, but at least I can walk for short trips!
Frank is doing great: still working as I just mentioned, still jogging his five miles every morning. He's as fit as a fiddle; nothing really brings him down; all he gets are mild allergy attacks or a case of the sniffles; he has some sinus problems; not much more than that.
The Lights are out in full force here in Fairbanks: we see them just about every night now; very pretty to see. I have taken some spectacular shots of the Lights; too bad I haven't enjoyed them sooner. It seems funny now, but I was once terrified of them; now I know they won't hurt me; I think they are absolutely gorgeous!
Our kittycat, "Aurora", is getting bigger every day; still spoiled rotten, still wants to be the center of attention. We're kinda' at fault; we've ruined her that way. She may look like a full-grown cat on the outside, but inside, she's still a kitten; everything's a Game for her; she always has to play!
I thought I was pregnant; turns out it was a false alarm. Very disappointing. Well, the fun's in the trying! LOL Frank and I would love to have children, yet so far, no touchdowns! LOL
I would love to have a large family, maybe about four, five kids. Any more than that, I'd go nuts!
Well, I am going to go now; still ungodly early here in the Frozen Northland. Very cold here too; lows in the teens, highs in the twenties, thirties. BRRR! Still too cold for my Cajun-Louisiana blood!
