Ronee' is excited; she is looking forward to the fall festival at her church.

Monday, October 29, 2007, 5:46 a.m., D.S.T.~

Dear Journal~

Ronee' here. Sorry I haven't written since last week; have been busier than a centipede in a toe-counting contest. LOL I hope you understand.

Between homework, taking care of  younger siblings, trying to manage my own health issues, and helping out at church (our fall festival is in two days; have been busy getting the face painting booth ready, with some of my friends from school), I don't have much time to do anything.

At least I have school to take my mind off things. I didn't have any homework this weekend, which is something of a miracle; the last homework asignment I had was on Wednesday, and that was for Spanish. (I did it on the bus going home. :)  Turned it in on Thursday morning. Got an A on it, too. :) )

Kendra, Missy, Natalie, Sasha, and Naomi have all gone on a cruise, the lucky ducks! I don't know exactly where they are going, but I hope they have a safe, marvelous time!

I wish I could go on another cruise--wouldn't mind going to Alaska again---just to get awaaaaaaaay---LOL

I saw Susie and Rebekkah the other day. They looked great, especially Reb. Rebekkah is walking on a pair of crutches, and Susie is doing better; she was happier than I've seen her in a very long time; that really encouraged me. They tried to be brave when they saw Johnny, but it didn't work; they both cried, which really bothered me.

Johnny is a kid, a kid who only wants to be loved, accepted; he doesn't need anyone showing pity over him! His mind is full anyway; he dosen't need anymore drama in his life! I am trying to put on a brave affront when I am around him, sometimes, however, it's so hard, especially when he's having a bad day--or is sick again!!

Maman is starting to feel like a beached whale; she is so sick of being in bed it isn't funny!! Yesterday she got to get out of bed, go to church; everyone was so happy to see her; the pastor even had special prayer for her, anointed her with oil, had the congregation stretch their hands out towards her and lift her up in prayer. It was nice!

Maman came out of church feeling refreshed and invigorated; ever since she's been in a much happier mood.

Let's hope this continues.

Maman may go to the Harvest Festival, depending on how well she's feeling.

Oh, I fell the other day: didn't hurt myself (much), just scraped up my arm, and am now sporting the world's ugliest bruise. I have naturally dark skin anyway; the bruise looks like I have a nasty case of necrotizing fasciitis ("flesh-eating disease"); it's really gross!! It's a good thing it's cooler out; that way, I can hide the bruise with my long sleeves! LOL

I was walking along, tripped on one of my stupid crutches. Down I went! I have a bad habit of hookin'  my foot with my crutch (have a bad case of foot drop--my left foot); it drives me bat crazy!! GRRRR!!

I was at the store when I fell. You should have seen all the people come runnin' when I hit the ground. My! I was mortified; that was when I was wishin' the floor'd open up, swallow me whole! Boy, talk about emBARrassing....Sheeshamighty!!

Well, I gotta' get ready for school, have my mornin' grub, take my meds, get my stuff, then wait for the bus to take me to school. I gotta' run for now. I will write in here again soon; take care and God bless!

~Luv, your gal pal, Ronee' Le-Anne. :D

Oh! For the festival, I'm dressing up: wearing my bright orange spider sweatshirt, my dangly spider earrings, and black pants. I may put some fake webbing on, put some extra "legs" on, do up my face, go as a spider--a friendly spider, but still, a spider. I think that'd be cool. :)

Oh, and just in case you're interested: I am going to be singing at the Harvest Festival. Yep. I'm goin' to be a "Singin' Spider"! LOL

~Ron. :D

Well written story Karen. Glad to see Ronee got an A in Spanish. Question is thought, how did she do in English? Ah right, they don't teach that in our schools anymore. ok ok. I won't go there. God bless.

Ronee, one of the things I love of you is that unbending optimism and care for other's pain forgetting your own.
Getting an A in Spanish deserves "la felicito seņorita, muy bien hecho y siga enriqueciendo su vida!"
They said that when a whale is beached it needs to be pushed back into the water, you should try that once and see what happens.
