Johnny writes in his journal, to let his friends know how he is doing.

Monday, November 5, 2007, Nashville, TN, 4:21 a.m., C.S.T.~

Dear Journal~

Johnny here.

I am sorry for not writing;  have been feeling poorly the past few days; hope I am not coming down with another danged bug or find out that my MD continues to worsen. That would not be at all good!

I've been having spells of rapid heart beat, but not enough to where an ambulance call would be warrented. It's just to where I have a little difficulty breathing, annoying at best.

Well, it seems right now my heart's settled down; I hope so! There's nothing like a little heart trouble to worry a guy halfway to death!

Lots of good sports action on television yesterday: the Nascar races at 2:30 (Jimmie Johnson, the jerk, won AGAIN!! My driver, Matt Kenseth, was second), then the Cowboys verses the Eagles at 6:30.

The Cowboys lassoed the Eagles 38-17 in Eagle Country; I guess the 'Boys showed THEM who's the better team! It was a very good game, yet those Eagles fans are CRAAAAZY!!

Mama had some pains yesterday in her belly; she had to go to the hospital yesterday to have them checked; she thought she was going into labor, but it was nothing more than severe gas pains. She got to go back home.

It worried us, kinda' put a big crump in our day. (The pains hit during church. She had to miss at least half the service; so did we; we ended up having to cart mama to the hospital.)

We also missed going out to eat. Instead we ate at the house, but it was 2:00 before any of us ate. By the time 2:00 rolled around we were ravenous; we tore into the food like hungry bears. It was nuts!!

I am still confused with the time change. We're back to the old time now; instead of being an hour ahead, we're back to the old original time. That means school is going to draaaaaaaaaaaag on by until our bodies get used to the time difference. I hate those stupid time changes; why can't we just leave the time alone and forget about it?

Oh, I know why: it's a way to save energy, or help the golfers/farmers out. I think that is good if  you're a farmer or golfer or electrical person, but what about us, the common folk?? It doesn't make sense; it never has to me!

Well, I gotta' get ready to go to school: have someone help me with getting dressed, get my personal affairs in order (bag's kinda' full), help me with my meds and breakfast, and getting my school supplies. If "Gingie" can't do it, I'll get one of my brothers or sisters to help; they're really good about that.

Take care, will write in here again! So long for now!

~Johnny. :)

Johnny is a great kid, no matter what his personal problem. He is worried about his mama when he is afraid regarding himself. What a great write!

You've described a normal reaction of all who have some health problem: worrying about self even while interacting with interests in life as best they can--taking into consideration all that is in their environment. Nicely done.

Great catch up, but why wasn't he watching the race?
