Dear Journal~

Anh Kim here. It is so good to be home with my family again!

I am amazed at how huge mom has gotten. She may be carrying twin boys, but she looks like she's carrying baby elephants; she's gigantic!! She is in bed; she can't get out of bed until the twins (boys) are born sometime next month.

It won't be long now!

Boys. My baby brothers to be. Ian Cameron and Isaiah Charles. How I am looking forward to their arrival! What a Christmas this is going to be for our family!

I also met my new brothers Bjorn, Habir, and Emir, and Vincente, and my new sisters Opal Lee and Emma-Ruth. They are all so cute! My other brothers and sisters are growing like weeds; it's amazing what just a few years can do to change a person!

Last time I was home Johnny and Ronee' were little pipsqueaks; now they're teenagers! Ronee' is almost as tall as mom, and Johnny is now sporting a nice little Adam's apple, and his voice has deepened considerably. He's also wearing earrings, and he no longer looks like the kid he once was.

It's heartbreaking to see how Johnny's muscular dystrophy is progressing. He is now totally wheelchair-bound (he can no longer walk), and he has to use oxygen now all of the time; his breathing is becoming affected by the MD. He needs a lot of help now, and it makes me sad.

I just wonder if Johnny will be here next year....

Did I tell you that I passed fall quarter?? All straight A's in all my courses. I am so proud of myself! Next month I am continuing with taking Bible History, Religious Studies, and my other courses. It's not easy, but it's required to take these courses in my chosen field. I am still interested in becoming a pastor.

School is going fantastically well. I did break up with my girlfriend; I've since gotten a new one in Hoa; she's my age, and like me, she has a big family. And like me, most of her twelve brothers and sisters are adopted! Isn't that too cool or what??

Tomorrow for Thanksgiving our family is going out to eat. Let someone else do the cooking, since mom is out of commission. We're going out to eat at Golden Corral. It's going to be a zoo, especially when our family goes out to eat; there's over 60 in our party alone! WHEEE! It's gonna' be a fine time in the ol' Corral tomorrow! :)

After we pig out on Thanksgiving food, we will come home, then veg out in front of the television and watch the Dallas Cowboys play. Hopefully they'll continue with their winning ways; they've been having a great season so far this year; have only lost one game this year.

Either that--watch football--or crash out, where we can sleep off our Thanksgiving lunch! LOL

Then Friday we're going to shop (we're planning on being out the door by five a.m.); we'll more than likely be gone most of the day.

Now mom and most of us have already gotten a head start on our Christmas shopping (we started in August; we have to for this crowd!!); we're just picking up the last few items, and dad will take advantage of the sale items and getting Christmas supplies/decorations/cards at reasonable prices.

This is why we go. We also enjoy watching the other people break their necks while we can sit back and rub it in their noses about how we're almost done! *neener, neener, neener!* LOL

I got in yesterday afternoon about four-thirty; I'll be here in Tennessee until the middle of next week, when I'll head back, and then sttart winter courses until the Christmas break, which starts on December 22nd and goes until after the first of the year.

I will write in here again; am getting sleepy, the little rugrats have been running me ragged, and my stump is starting to ache yet again. I will go now. Take care and God bless! Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one!
