Louisiana is home from the hospital, weak, tired, but otherwise happy. However, she feels a little sadness: her twins won't be home from the hospital until later this week; she misses them.

Dear Journal~
Sorry if I haven't been able to write; the past few days have been nothing short of incredible!
I just got out of the hospital not even an hour ago, just got home. I am tired, weak, emotionally drained; but otherwise happy to be home again with my family. Home. What a wonderful word!
On Thursday, I had what I thought were gas pains. They ended up getting worse, so while at the Golden Corral, my family became concerned; therefore, they took me to the E.R. That was when I found out that I was in labor. I couldn't believe it!
At the news, I started crying. My twins weren't due until around Christmas; they were a little over a month early. They couldn't come now! I remember thinking, as I was put into a wheelchair, then rushed to L & D. It was terrifying! I was so scared they'd be born sick or with severe problems; however, after a scare with Ian (he quit breathing; they got him back within moments), all went smoothly, and the boys were both here in a span of only fifteen short minutes.
When I saw the boys for the first time, my eyes flooded with tears. They looked just like me, but they were going to be tall: both were pretty long in size. They wre absolutely beautiful! They both weighed five pounds each.
No wonder I was so big at the end of my pregnancy! No wonder I had to spend the last several months in bed! Compared to most twin births, Ian and Isaiah were huge!
They are still in the hospital, still in the NICU, where they continue to be closely monitored by the NICU staff there. They are doing quite well, according to the latest reports; it is very encouraging.
Yet I miss them. I wish they were home with me. I want to hold the twins in my arms, love on them, bond with them, give them my milk; yet the nurses and doctors want to make sure they are going to be okay, so they are keeping them a little while longer in the hospital, as a precaution.
I can understand this, but it's still hard!
The kids are happy I am back home. They have kept the house in tip top shape, even made me breakfast, which I just had: French toast, a Denver omelette, juice to drink. It was very good. Meanwhile, I lay here in bed, like a slug; have to get my strength back up from the birth of the twins. Have to take it easy for a little while.
I can't believe that I now have sixty three wonderful children to raise. That seems so outlandish; yet God has blessed us by bringing us children without hope, children without futures; then He rewards our efforts by blessing us with twin sons! Add to that one foster son who will become our permanent son around Christmas! It is all so surreal! He knew we wanted a family; boy, did He ever give us a family! Not just a family, but a FAMILY!! LOL
I have a ton of mail to open, a ton of e-mails to attend to, so this entry won't be nearly as long as the others. I will write again in a few days before Isaiah and Ian come home; then I won't even have time to write because you know all the attention that little babies need! It's a constant state of alertness, this job called motherhood!
Ah, such as life! But I love it!
I wouldn't trade it all for anything in the world! I am loving my life too much!
