It had been six months since Sherry Moore gave up her last name and was no longer a single woman. She contemplated on what to do this afternoon. Shelton Thomas was everything she desired in a man. Six feet three inches of pure gold she often thought. His smile was a pick-me-up from any bad day, and his caramel complexion, to her surprise was one shade.
Clean cut and no razor bumps, Old Spice was definitely good to him. His hair was pulled into a ponytail most of the time but whenever he decided to wear it down it sent chills up her spine. His Native American features stood out more than anything else. It was one hour until Shelton was due to clock out for lunch.
She pulled out the new G-string that was just purchased the other day from Macy’s. “Bingo” she said as she pranced around the master bedroom. She positioned herself several different ways on the bed as she waited patiently. The rain beat fiercely against the glass doors drowning out the light jazz that was playing in the background. Her sheer black robe revealed things that were for his eyes only and she knew that this afternoon was going to be juicy pillow talk between her and Shelton. Noticing that it was time, febreeze mingled with the aroma of her grandmother’s famous apple pie. As he exited the workplace he fought with the thunder and lightning.
The windshield wipers worked vigorously as he drove on the wet streets of Detroit. The thought of being with his wife had his mind preoccupied causing him to slam on the breaks as the red light warned him to stop immediately. Finally making it home, he parked his Chevy in the designated parking space. Meanwhile Sherry sat on the loveseat with her cherry red hair pulled into a school teacher’s bun. Her long bronze legs were perfectly crossed with the new stilettos fitting perfectly. Her eye glasses were placed on the top of her head. She could hear his keys in the door and anxiety set in. he was soaked and of course he needed assistance. Sherry aided her husband in the name of love, and that was an afternoon to remember.
