Dear Journal~
This is the first time I've written in here in quite a long while. Did you miss me?? *grins*
Things here have been hectic at best. We had the whole gang home for Christmas; and it was a most wonderful time; but I will be glad when the ones still here go back to where they live! I'm so exhausted it's not a bit funny!
Add two screaming, fussy newborns to the mix, and you probably will figure out that I haven't gotten much sleep. Little Ian and Isaiah are both home, thriving, doing extremely well, but their crying is about to drive. me. insane!!
The children are all in their glory: most got what they wished for for Christmas, and now my poor credit cards have been maxed out; I'll be paying for Christmas for months to come! LOL
I do have some bad news: Johnny is not getting any better--muscular dystrophy getting worse. He's lost so much weight (he's gotten very cachexic, looks like nothing but skin and bones), and he's on oxygen all the time now; it's getting harder for him to breathe. It won't be long before he has to have that tracheostomy put in; his lungs are shot, weak. It worries me; one wonders if he will even be around next year at this time! Very depressing!
Johnny is also dealing with the breakup between him and Rebekkah Cohen. Rebekkah suddenly decided she didn't want to be in love; didn't want to have Johnny in her life any longer; it's gotten Johnny extremely depressed. All he does is sit there, look out his window, and cry. It breaks my heart to see him looking so sad!
Ronee' is getting nervous: next week she is facing surgery on her hands; she's upset that afterwards she won't be able to do anything. She's always been fiercely independent; she doesn't like people doing things for her. I keep telling her to look forward to it because she gets to be waited on hand and foot; yet she can't see the logic behind it.
It looks like I'll be facing some serious hospital time next week, for the next several weeks afterwards...
Ah, such as life when you have kids such as mine!
Speaking of kids, Susie Jackson-Callaway isn't doing any better: the girl managed to cut herself again, is still having those flashbacks. It's terrifying. Audrey is still blaming me for her problems, won't even talk to me, write to me, return my calls. I don't know why she is like this; it bothers me no end! She's making me look like I'm the cause of her problems; I have absolutely nothing to do with them!!
If she wants to break up my firiendship with her, then so be it. I don't need her in my life!! I have been trying to be a friend to her, nothing more; if she can't see that I was only trying to help, then to hell with her!! I have enough problems; why only add more??
Bjorn has settled into our family beautifully, as have Opal Lee, Emma, Emir, and Habir; and of course, we have Vincente; they keep me hopping.
It was great seeing the oldest kids; they got to meet their newest brothers and sisters; it was love at first sight. Of course, the babies were the hit of the family; the oldest kids couldn't get enough out of holding Ian or Isaiah! We also saw the grandkids; boy, they are all growing so fast!!
We took the kids to see Santa Claus, took them to the parade; they had a most marvelous time. They had fireworks, which was rather cool. Somehow the fireworks made the Christmas parade/tree lighting/celebration all the more special, all the more memorable.
Whoops! Gotta' go to get to work; I'm laaaaaaaaaaaate! Looked at the clock; I should have been there nearly twenty minutes ago! I will write in here again soon; take care and God bless! Happy New Year; hope it's your best year EVER!!

Lousiana must have been on vacation (or busy raising her brood)...she's been missed! A powerful write covering all emotions: joy, upon seeing children moved away; sadness, upon learning of Johnny's illness worsening; of worry for Ronee and her upcoming surgery. Well written, in any event.
