Louisiana Sandusky is none too pleased at how things are going between her and some friends; she vents out her frustrations in her journal.

January 2, 2008~

I feel like a black cloud is following me.

It's like my friends are ganging up against me, and I don't like it at all.

Ever since Rebekkah broke up with my son Johnny it's been nothing but problems.  Rebekkah and her family are mad at me, Kendra is mad at me, and Audrey, of course, has been mad at me for a little while now.

I don't know what I possibly could have done; it has me feeling confused.  They are making me look like the bad guy, and I didn't do anything more but be a friend to them.  Nothing more!!

Whatever happened to "Christian kindness"??

Now Kendra and her family are thinking of moving away, Audrey and the Cohens have moved away--anything to move away from me--, and it hurts.  It really hurts!  I have been crying nonstop the past few days, and I don't know what to do!!

If you think I am angry, you're right. I am angry.  Good and angry!!  I am also very upset over what has happened!

Am I that bad of a person??  Do I deserve to be treated like this?  Yesterday I saw Kendra and her kids at church, and they say I didn't say hello to them when I did. They said I "was rude".  At the time this occurred, I was trying to deal with Bjorn, who kept wanting to run off, and also with Roberto, who was stimming again. (Roberto does that if scared, upset, or bored. He has autistic like tendencies in addition to the Down's; he also has cerebral palsy.)

Kendra, if any, should understand what it's like to parent children who are disabled.   She has some children with Down's; she knows that they can be mischevious at times!  She also has some children who are blind/deaf!

Audrey should understand, too, and so should Louisa! Now they are blaming me for their problems, and I am in a quandry.  I have wracked my brain, trying to figure out what I have done wrong, and I am left feeling hurt, angry, confused!

I suddenly feel as though the entire world is staring at me, and I am scared that I will somehow end up losing my children!  If I didn't have my children, I don't know what I would do!!

What do I do in a situation like this??  Please enlighten me!  I could use some help here, folks!!

Maybe it would have been better if I didn't adopt any of my children or start this stupid adoption community!!!!

~Love, your friend in Tennessee, Louisiana Sandusky. :( >tears!<

Louisa has been trying to keep quite about this she had spinal surgery, as for Kendra and Audrey they are upset as everyone gets, Rebekka Rachel was hurt as much as Johnny even though it was her decision, she's a teen they get emotional and she knew she was moving away, it is not because of Johnny or Louie but because of her health, she needs the treatments they offer in England. Well I digress the story is very well written, keep these coming...
God Bless

Maybe she shouldn't waste her energy in anger...but channel it into just taking care of her own family...the rest will work out in God's time...

love, Carole~

Sounds like they all need to get together and work their anger out in a more positive way...not setting good examples for children or being good role models for the teens.

Your stories always seem to fit a facit of lifestyles and many can find themselves in situations, leaving them feeling just as mad, and just as frustrated...This is a great turn of events and one I look forward to continuing...Well written, Karen
Happy 2008! :)

Whatever happened to "Christian kindness"??

A darned good question, in today's supposedly 'Christian world.'

Wow! What a turn of events! Louisiana and Kendra need to get together and see what's at the bottom of this downturn in their friendship--perhaps just a misunderstanding on both parts. Excellently penned, Karen.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
