Louisiana is happy to know that Mia is doing well, considering all that she's gone through these past several months.

Dear Mia~
So happy to know the twins are home; yet my heart grieves for the little boy that you lost. I am so sorry; I wish I knew what to do, what to say, to try to ease your pain a little!
Unfortunately, I know the pain of losing a child. I've lost three, two boys and a girl. Two died while still tiny babies; the third died on what would have been his fourth birthday. (Had they lived, they would be in their later teens, nearing adulthood. I still miss them very much even now, all these years later.)
I also lost a little foster child. She was two years old. She died of AIDS. Her name was Rachel, a little peanut of a thing. She was precious!
I was most happy to learn that Austin arrived safely from Ireland to Kendra's family! That is most wonderful news! He sounds like a sweetheart; I would love to see a picture of Kendra's newest child! Tell Kendra congratulations; I am most happy for her!
We are doing well: the twins are gaining weight, eating like little pigs; they are sooo cute!! Ian is the bigger of the two, but both boys are sporting a headful of curly, black hair; they look just like me, but will probably be tall like their daddy; they're awfully long! I just don't get much in the way of sleep because it seems we feed them every two/three hours!
Johnny is healing beautifully; he still hates getting suctioned. I don't blame him, really; that can be rather painful! He's breathing so much better, and his color is improved; I am most encouraged!
Ronee', on the other hand, has been driving us crazy: seeing she just had surgery on her hands, she really can't do much until they heal some more; we've been having to play servant to her. LOL She's been on a tangent; I will be sooo glad when she gets the stitches out of her hands!
Both Johnny and Ronee' appreciate the prayers; we do too. Thanks so much!
How is the weather there? Here it's snowy. Yes, snowy. We got at least six inches of the white stuff dumped on us during the night; we are due to get anywhere from four to eight more. We're under heavy snow warnings. Good thing the kids don't have to go to school today; when they see all the snow, they'll be in their glory; they will want to get out in it!
Yesterday, before all the snow started (it started snowing about five), we had to take Emir to the emergency room. Seems the little guy stuck a crayon up his nose, caused it to start bleeding. Poor guy didn't appreciate the doctors bending over him, trying to remove the stuck crayon with tweezers; he howled the entire time. I felt so bad for him; it was all I could do to keep from crying myself! It was awful!!
I never was so glad to get back home once this whole thing was over! Now I bet Emir won't be sticking anything smaller than his hooks up his nose from now on! Lessons learned, I guess. Life with Emir is NEVER dull, that's for true ! LOL
Emir is a little pistol, if you get my drift. LOL
I was most happy to learn that Naomi has been moved to a rehab facility. Is it the same one Rebekkah was in when she became paralyzed? They seemed to have done a beautiful job with Rebekkah; hopefully Naomi will have the same outcome. All we can do is hope and pray.
I got a beautiful letter from Audrey Callaway, explaining her side of things; she also wrote to her brother, Wayne. Wayne, as you know, has been so sick; he had a kidney transplant back in November, and is still healing. He seems to be doing a little better; we stopped by his house the other day; he looks rather good, considering all that he's been through.
We miss Wayne at NMH; he's been a valuable asset to our surgical staff! The gang asks about him all the time; I keep them updated, as does Sarah, his wife. He's had a bad time of it lately; hopefully the bad times are behind him and he can then move forward with his life! Lord, let's hope so!
I will have to write to Audrey when I can snatch some extra time. Seems I don't have much of that lately!
I have been working lots of hours at the hospital; I am now off for three days in a row. I plan on spending it sleeping--between taking care of the kids, that is, also hubby and my folks! LOL I wish I could just slip in a tub full of Calgon and let it "Take me awaaaaaaaaaaaay!", as the commercial says! LOL
I heard from Louisa Mason, Naomi's sister; have already fired a letter off to her; now I get a letter from you as well as Audrey. Now I'm writing to you; next it's Audrey's turn. I am happy to see that she's willing to let bygones be bygones; I do forgive her, and I hope that she does the same for me.
At least she's trying to save our friendship; she really means a lot to me! I am sorry if I haven't been a better friend to her.
I haven't been a nice friend to anyone lately; I have been wallowing in my self pity, and when all of this "stuff" started happening, I couldn't deal with it, so I tried to shut myself out. Not the best thing to do; now I have to apologize for being so stupid. My friends mean too much to me to let old things get in the way!
Well, I am going to go back to bed; getting very sleepy all of a sudden. *YAWN* I will write more later; take care, and God bless! Give Kendra and Audrey my love; tell them I will write to them soon; that is a promise! Tell them hello!
I love you, Mia, and I love your twins; they are beautiful!! Give them hugs from their adoptive auntie in Tennessee! (What's two more kids?? LOL)

Mia is not the Mother of the little boy, that was Missy, but I know its hard to keep my characters straight, Mia is actually Missy's sister, names to much alike and ages to close LOL, but this was an excellent write, stay tuned, Mia is going to be writing again.
