Sorry for not writing; my daughter, Eternity Faith, just had her newest round of surgery a few days ago, and is currently in the hospital, recovering. The doctors say she's doing fantastic; I want to be with her; I know she's scared.

I will be leaving for the hospital after I'm done here. Snowing here; have to be careful. Under winter storm warnings here; weather is really nasty out. I hope I make it to the hospital without any incidents!

To give you a quick refresher course, we live in Ponca City, Oklahoma. I am a single parent. Eternity's my only child, and I would do anything for her. I would die for her; she means that much to me!

Eternity will be eight in July; she's now seven and one half. She's in the second grade at Ponca City Elementary; she's doing very well in school. I am very proud of her!

Eternity also happens to be disabled. She was born wish spina bifida that's left her paralyzed from the waist on down. Eternity can walk, with crutches and braces on her legs. Sometimes she'll use her walker, or for really long trips, her wheelchair.

Because of her health, she's had many scary surgeries/hospitalizations. She's nearly died from complications more than once, yet has bounced back like the trouper that she is. She is absolutely incredible!

Eternity, even with her disability, is like most second-graders: she loves to paint/draw/read, write stories, playing dressup, going to school, or go to the zoo, mall, or amusement park. Her favorite animal is the cheetah; her room is done in cheetah-style print, and she has posters of cheetahs plastered on her walls.

Eternity loves country music; her favorite is none other than Garth Brooks. Eternity's seen Garth in person several times, even has met him in person, had her picture made with him. Also got his autograph. She was soo excited!! I thought the last time we saw Garth I was going to have to glue her crutches to the floor; she was floating on air! LOL

Pray I make it to the hospital in one piece!
