Ronee' is bored, so she decides to write in her journal during her study hall period at school.

Dear Journal~
Where is my head this morning?? Nearly put "January" instead of "February"! LOL Guess I need to sleep more--or pay attention more! LOL
Guess I am thinking of my upcoming audition for a chance to appear on "America's Got Talent". That's next weekend at Opryland Mills. I still haven't decided between "Coal Miner's Daughter", "I Wanna' Be A Cowboy's Sweetheart" (I've been working on improving my yodeling skills; been listening to my Taylor Ware CD; she's inspired me), or "Jole' Blon'". (Nice eclectic mix there, Ronee'! LOL)
Anyway, I'm getting a bit nervous; I always do before these major auditions.
If I make it, great; if not, oh, well. Last year when I tried out, I was asked (by the judges) to try again next year, so I am, as per their request. Maybe I'll make it to the finals--or at least the semi finals. I think I can do it; I know I can! :)
Maman says I am full of confidence; heck, after what I have had to go through in life, I have to be!
My hands are just about healed; they're not quite there yet; they still ache when the weather changes.
Speaking of weather, we had some nasty supercell storms (replete with tornadoes!!) roll on through here; not much damage (a young sapling met its doom, as did some branches and twigs, and some shingles off our roof), but I got so scared I worked myself into an asthma attack.
It was the first asthma attack I'd had in months. It was unnerving!
My asthma's under control, but if I get extremely stressed, I'll try to go into an attack; however, I have my inhaler with me at all times, just in case. I had it with me that night; had to use it. Maman got worried, but I told her I was going to be okay, which I was.
Needless to say, I try not to stress out. I don't need that in my life! Life is too good now; why have stress and/or an asthma attack to ruin it?? Nope, don't need it at all!!
Anyway, back to "AGT": I figure if a guy on crutches (LazyLegz) can make it to "AGT", then by God, I, a young (disabled) teenaged girl with a love for singing, can, too! :) God's gifted me with a knack for singing (country style, but I'll take on most musical formats!), and as long as I have breath in my body (or a song in my heart), then I'm gonna' sing!! :) Nothing, not even my disability, is going to stop this Cajun gal!
I'm determined. I'm very determined! :)
Oh, guess what!! My brother, Johnny, is writing a book. He just heard from the publisher--and they accepted his manuscript!! So he is now gonna' be a bona-fide author!! I am so tickled *pink* for him I could just fly!! :) I am so happy for him!! (About time something terrific happened to Johnny!! He deserves to be happy in life!!)
Whoops! Teacher is looking at me, with a look on his face that says: "Ronee', why aren't you studying??" *Hee* I'd better get back to hittin' the books if I know what's good for me; however, I had to tell you about "AGT" and Johnny's good news as well as deliver the weather report! LOL Take care, and God bless; will write more as the audition dates get closer!! Yes, good times ahead for sure!!
~Luv, your (excited) gal pal, Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux. :D
