Dear Journal~
Sarah Wright here.
Everyone in bed; going to take advantage of it while the gettin's good. Nice and quiet here; for once, no kids crying, calling out.
I am emotionally drained: the funeral for little Dominic Brownwood was exhausting, beautiful, yet incredibly sad. Dominic was killed when a tree fell on him during the recent tornadoes two weeks ago today. He went to put his bicycle away during the storm.
It's been a terrible time, not only for his family, but for our church family.
Dominic was much loved by all of us. He was a bright, sweet boy with a quiet, unassuming personality; he had a good heart.
He shall be missed by all of us.
Good news: Ronee', Louisiana Sandusky's daughter, made it to Hollywood for her audition! That means she'll go to Hollywood for a chance to make it to "America's Got Talent"! I am so happy for her; she really wanted this!
Johnny also has good news to share: he's a published author; his book shall be out later this year sometime (probably around November or December, the way things look now). This is his first book. He wrote about living with a neuromuscular disorder. It's geared for young adults/teens.
There will be no more adoptions for the Sanduskys: they've decided that they have more than enough kids; they don't need any more.
I guess they figure that someone else needs a chance. :)
Next month we are taking our African-born son Mwugu and our Chinese-born daughters to their adoption hearings. It will be an emotional time for all involved; they will finally be our children, legally--and permanently.
It's been a long time coming!
We've applied to adopt yet another child--a child from Guatemala. Whether it is a boy or girl--that's unknown at this time. We've applied for a child with speical needs.
If accepted, this will be our second special needs adoption. Our son, Mwugu, was born with physical disabilities that require him to use crutches or a wheelchair.
Well, I hear Rheese crying and Mwugu singing, so I'd best go now. Kids starting to rise, need to get them ready for school. I'll write again later; take care and God bless!
I wondered about how long and how far the Sanduskys will be stretching until their trenght said stop but not the will of love children. Now comes the rearing of what they have to a safe place in life.
A wicked Cajun Fairy named Robes Pierre entered the impenetrable Magical doll land of Sha Bebe. Queen Faustina, the ruler of the doll land, thought she had destroyed him, but he's back! Will the doll land survive his evil ways?
