Still cold here in the Far Northland; I'm doin' everythin' I can to keep warm! Frank, he's lovin' it; I swear he's part Eskimo!! LOL
I'm doing okay; just felt like makin' the print larger, so there you go. Days are starting to get a bit longer here; however it's still a long way off before the sun's out nearly 24 hours a day, like it is when Summer begins.
The auroras have waned somewhat; sun being quiet; no activity. Darn; I love it when the auroras are out although when I first saw they they scared the hell outta' me! LOL
Frank is out skiing with some friends; don't expect him home until after seven; have a few hours to go yet. I'm here by my lonesome, wrapped up in a blanket, sitttin' by the fireplace, "Aurora", our cat, laying on my legs, adding extra warmth. It feels so nice! :)
I got bored of reading, so I decided to hop on the computer, write in my journal, to let y'all know what's up with us.
We are doing great; nothing much to worry about (except me complainin' 'bout the cold weather here! LOL). If I could make it at least 20 degrees warmer, I'd be happy!! It's in the sub readin's now outside; tooooo cold for this hotblooded Cajun gal!
I have heard from some of my friends from N'Awlins; they are doing a little better; however like me, they are missin' Louisiana real bad. I wish we could go back; however, since Katrina hit, N'Awlins has lost a lot of her charm.
I doubt we'll get back there. Too dangerous there, was always dangerous anyway, even before that damnfool hurricane! Now it's even worse!
Mebbe some of my Louisiana friends will come up this way; I told them to wait until summer, when the weather's much warmer (if y'all can call 60 degrees in July "warm"!). Don't t'ink they could take this Alaskan cold, non!!
Well, hell. I can't think of anything else to write about; I'm bored outta' my gourd! Mebbe I'll see the total lunar eclipse that's forecast for later tonight! That'll be cool; I love lookin' at things like that! That's so fascinating!!
