Have some terrific news: the trial we've been involved with for the past few weeks to a month has finally come to a merciful end. The judge has dropped all abuse/child neglect charges; we are home free!
It's been nothing short of a miracle!
Our worst fears have ended; and our prayers have been answered in a huge way!
God is indeed good!
Now we can get back to our lives before things went awry: working at our jobs, taking care of our children, church activities, trying to get our bills paid on time, etc.
With Easter being only a few weeks away, our church is in the midst of preparing for our annual Easter Cantata/Good Friday services/commnion. It is always a time of joy, celebration: we are remembering the true meaning of the holiday: the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ into Heaven.
The weather here is calm (for now that is); it may get ugly later on. We may get some nasty storms traversing through here, including the threat of tornadoes; then it's supposed to get sharply colder, with the threat of snow/ice. Temps were in the sixties to lower seventies today; tomorrow temperatures aren't expected to get beyond the thirties with a chance of snow/ice and a sharp northerly wind with gusts upwards past 35 miles an hour.
Crazy weather! It's no wonder so many people have been sick with the flu, colds, or other things!
It's nuts!
Well, I must go now. Time to get the kids ready for bed for the night, make sure the ones on medication take their nightly doses of meds, make sure they go to sleep if they want to be able to rise for school tomorrow morning. I will write in here another day when things aren't so hectic.
