Dear Journal~

Hullo, hullo! 'Tis me, Tottie Ruth!

How's everyone doing?  Me, I'm doin' great!  Couldn't be doing better than I am right now!

I still have me mate in me life, Bobbo; he treats me like a goddess.  He makes sure I have everything I need.  He's the best thing that's ever happened to me!

I still have me other mates, me buddies; we still hang out every weekend, go clubbin', generally have a fun time.  We get rip-roarin' drunk, we dance, act all crazy-stupid. It's a blast!

I am working at the store; people getting used to seeing me again. I'm not fast as I was prior to losing me leg, but hey--I still get around, especially when I have me fake leg on.  Then I'm as fast as a cheetah; it doesn't slow me down any!

It's summer here; soon it will be fall.  Seems like only yesterday it just started.  Now the days are getting shorter, nights getting cooler.  It was pretty dry here, not as bad as last year, and a bit cooler.  It was rather enjoyable.

For our vacation, Bobbo and myself went to Tahiti.  We laid around on the beach, swam, took in the local flavour of the islands.  It was wonderful; I'm ready to go back there next time he (or I) have a vacation coming up!

It was glorious!

I haven't had any more nasty encounters with Mr. Arachnid.  Since I got bitten by a funnel web last year I have had me house regularly sprayed/treated; I haven't seen a spider in me house for months.  Hope that continues; I've since developed a nasty phobia to spiders.

Everytime I see a spider, and Bobbo's with me, I'm climbin' him like a tree! LOL  Anythin' to get away from that nasty thing!!  If it's a funnel web, forget it!  They might as well admit me to hospital right now! LOL

Last month, Bobbo took me to the Australia Zoo, the one that Steve Irwin operated before he died; it was super!  I got to meet Steve-O's widow, Terri, and their little nippers, Bindi and Robert, and they are turning into regular little wildlife warriors, too, just like their parents.  It was very enjoyable, had me pic taken with them, even got their autographs.

Well, I have some fantastic news to share with ye: Bobbo and I have since gotten engaged!!  That's right--we are going to be husband and wife sometime in the beginning of 2009!  When he proposed to me on Chrissie, I cried!!

Now I know he loves me!

I am going to go now; time to answer the phone.  Hopefully it isn't another damned salescall; HATE those with a purple passion!! GRR!
