Dear Journal~

Sari here. Sari Annike. Have been very busy, raising my little family, trying to come to terms with new and puzzling symptoms of my MS (ever shaking limbs, eyesight that fades in and out, etc.), trying to keep ahead of my disease as best as I possibly can.
Hasn't been easy. Nikolas has tried to be a big help; yet I sometimes act nasty towards him. I can't help it, and I don't mean to; this MS and fibromyalgia has me in a most foul mood a lot of the time.
I hope he understands that it's my disease that's doing this, not me, personally.
I wish I had a magic wand so I could wave all this sickness off me, get back to my life, how I was prior to before getting sick. I wish I could toss my wheelchair, crutches, dark glasses, cane, braces, etc., into the garbage can!
I've had it with being sick!!
I'm glad to say my husband and children are doing much better than I am. Birtta is nearly three now, a chatty, intelligent little girl with curling blonde hair and huge blue eyes; she looks just like me when I was a little girl. As for Erik, he'll be one year old this year; we are planning a huge first birthday celebration for him.
It's hard to believe that only a year ago we were about to become parents. Now we have a little boy who is awlking, talking, becoming a bona fide little person with a personality quite like his father Nik's.
Looks a lot like him, too, excepting he has blue eyes.
Weather here is chilly, but the coldest weather is behind us. In just a few days it will be spring; soon the flowers and trees will start showing signs of life. I am ready for spring; am sick and tired of this cold, grey, snowy weather we've had for the past few months!!
Other than my health, not much is new. We will be going to Easter services at the Greek Orthodox church a week for tomorrow; my friend has also invited me to go to Easter Sunday services at her church (she goes to a Protestant church). So I may be going to church twice that day.
Don't know what I am going to do about the Easter egg hunt I had planned for the kiddies. May have to hold that on Saturday so it doesn't mess up our church plans.
Well, I am gonig to go now; it's getting late here; getting sleepy all of a sudden. I will write in here again soon; until later, this is Sari saying Nakemiin for now!
