Dear Journal~

Bonjour! Comment ca' vas?  J'suis tres bien, merci!

It's me, Ronee'.  Haven't written in here in a few weeks (since March 19); been too busy getting ready for our cantata (that went extremely well; over a dozen people committed their lives to Christ, and our church, Christ Community Assembly of God, has some new members), and doing tons of homework. Nothing new there.

Seems the closer we get to the end of the school year the more homework that's piled on top of us; very aggravating!!

Healthwise, I'm doing great:  no asthma attacks in quite a while, did pass out a few weeks ago (didn't eat enough; blood sugar got low; won't make that  mistake again!!).  Arthritis behaving itself for the most part (have a shoulder now that's unamused; tried to do the trash earlier after we got back, strained it; it's pretty sore!), but other than that--no problems.

Hope it lasts!  I love these "good-health spells"!  I feel somewhat normal, and I don't have to worry so much about doctors!! LOL

The family is doing great: mama working lots of extra hours, so she can continue to provide for us kids, and daddy still working at Wal*Mart (has been there three years now; he loves it!!).  The babies are now four months old, and are as cute as the dickens!  They look exactly alike, except Isaiah has more hair than his brother; Ian's a little baldie! LOL

I love my baby brothers; they are such happy-natured babies, and I love changing them, helping feed them, helping them discover the world!  They love to pull at my hair or try to grab at my earrings! LOL (I'm just waiting for the day when they actually catch them; then I'd wish I had short, short hair or no earrings! LOL)

Johnny is doing good:  no new symptoms of his MD; it's like it's gone dormant.  We know that it won't be long before it starts rearin' its ugly head again, but for now, we are enjoying Johnny's spate of good health.  He still has the trache tube, but at least he can talk now without sounding like E.T.!

I am still writing, still performing (in a little over a month is our yearly trip to Louisiana, for the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival; always look forward to that!), and in June, we have the CMA Music Festival to look ahead to.  And in July is my audition for "America's Got Talent", for a chance to win a spot for the semi finals and be on television!  That would be cool if that happened!!

I've been practicing hard on my singing/yodeling!

I practice every day for an hour and a half!

Let's see, let's see--what else is new??  Oh, I'm still involved with youth church; go there every Sunday night while mama and daddy go to the regular services. 

I love the bands they have there; mostly rock, some country, even some rap; but they present the Message of Christ in fresh, meaningful ways that just seem to shake the very foundations of your soul!  I also love the preachin', and when I get out of church on Sundays, I always feel so pumped, so inspired, so invigorated!!

I am still watching "American Idol"; am rootin' for David Archuleta.  He's super!!  He's also very cute!  I wouldn't mind stealin' a kiss from him (or perhaps, asking him for a date!! LOL)!  I hope he goes all the way; he has a good chance, the way things look now; he's now in the top ten!!  A very good place to be! :)

I saw him on "Star Search" five years ago, and he won the championship; even then I knew great things were in store for him!  Now it looks like things are coming together for him; he's really become a phenominal singer!

Well, I am going to take a bath (why?? Is one missing?? LOL), then eat supper, and go to church tonight for youth service; hopefully it will be as good as the ones prior have been!  It's good to see so many of my contemporaries so on fire for the Lord!  I will write in here again another time; until next time, take care, and may God bless you as much as He's been blessin' me!

Yeah, God is so good all the time, and all the time, God is good! :) (My pastor at Christ Community loves saying that; and you know what?? It's true ! God IS good!)
