Dear Journal~

Johnny here.  Sorry for not writing in a while; things have been pretty hairy at best with our family.

Have had a lot of homework; it keeps me inside when I'm not in school or at church.  I still hate homework, no matter how you may slice it: homework is homework; it's a big pain in the buttinski, if you know what I mean!

Grrrr!!!!

At least the Easter Cantata is out of the way; I managed to sign my way through without making too many grevious mistakes.  And Mack, he didn't show his underwear this time when he "ascended" into Heaven, much to Pastor Bilkey's (and just about everybody else's) relief.

Nearly 30 people came to the altar and accepted Christ; there was a near record, full capacity crowd for all the performances, and everyone enjoyed the Easter Story very much.  I enjoyed being able to share the story of Christ's resurrection from the cross with the deaf members of our church; that way they weren't left in the dark, wondering what in the world was going on.

Now we will be having revival at the end of May:  Karen Wheaton is scheduled to sing/minister at our church, and Pastor Jesse Duplantis from New Orleans, Louisiana, will be the guest preacher.  I like him, but he's crazy!!!!  I've seen him a few times on the Christian channel, and he can get really loud at times! LOL

The revival will bring more people to our church, and our church has already grown since we started several years ago: over 800 people regularly attend services at Christ Community Assembly of God, and we're always looking to add to the church; we can always use more people in all facets of ministry opportunities.

Maybe some people will end up getting healed like last year: last year a little boy was healed of cancer of the bone, and he's still alive now, comes to church every week, a shining testiment to God's power.  His name's Jakey, and he's seven now, a really sweet little kid.

Another person (a lady) was healed of rheumatoid arthritis: she now no longer has any joint pain or swelling, and she's thrown her crutches away and is now walking under her own power.  She's now a member of the adult praise/worship team, and people get blessed when they see Matilda on the platform!

I know I do!

The family is well, and I am doing fantastic: no new worrisome symptoms of my Duchenne's; still have the trache, but no breathing problems whatsoever, which has been nothing short of a blessing, a miracle in my own life.  I am doing very well in school (other than trying to get the willpower to do my homework assignments! LOL), and I couldn't be any happier than I am right now!

Ronee' is gearing up for her upcoming appearance on "America's Got Talent" and her performances at the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival in Louisiana (I'm performing there, too--the crawfish fest, not on "AGT"; I'm not THAT good!!), and she's also performing at the CMA Music Festival, as part of the Cajun show lineup.  (Not performing there either, but that's okay.  I wasn't invited; wish I'd been, but nope.  Phooey!!)

The weather here has cleared: had storms last night, may have some more by tomorrow night into Thursday, including the threat of severe.  As my mom says, "Wondermous".  I couldn't agree more; my weather radio is already getting a head start!!  Looks like it may be a busy time for svr wx here in the Tennessee Valley; batten down the hatches, folks!!

Not good!

Have heard from Rebekkah Cohen; still have to find the time to write to her.  Been kinda' busy (or lazy; take your pick!!).  Sometimes I get that way, especially if my MD is acting up!

Well, gotta' get back to studying or teacher is going to eat me for lunch; he's shooting daggers in my direction!  I will write in here again when I have the time.  Until next time, this is Johnny saying so long for now and may God bless you as much as He's been blessing me as of late!
