Dear Journal~
Hey! Sorry for not writing; things busy at work and at home. Now have two boys, one a newborn, one going on four (he'll be four in September). Oldest one (Stefan) active, second one (Quincy) wakes us up every night with his crying; not used to having a little one around the house; forgot what it was like...LOL
Wife M'Kaya doing well: she has her good days, as well as her bad; you never know when her MS is going to rear its ugly head. It's a day to day thing with her.
I'm busy working at the hospital; still working as a therapist. Love it! Wife homoe with the boys; she doesn't get out much except to go to doctor's appointments--or to therapy.
When I'm not there, my friend is there with her. Don't like leaving M'Kaya by herself, especially when her MS is acting up again.
Last week got a call at work; wife fell; it scared me. She wasn't hurt, thank the Lord; however, she was bruised, shaken up. Ever since then, I'm scared to leave her alone; this is why I have someone with her, just so they can keep an eye on her.
Still living in the City; life is cool here, just don't like not seeing the Twins gracing our skyline; still makes me sad to think that they are no longer there. M'Kaya doesn't like to think about it; she delves into her reading/writing/raising the boys.
Got a raise at work; working anywhere from sixty to ninety hours a week; not home much, feel bad about it, especially when M'Kaya is sick; but we need the money. We have a growing family to take care of!
Because of gas being so high, I take the subway to work; wife stays home; if she needs to go anywhere, our friend takes her if I'm not there. Other friends come help with the kids; that gives her time for herself, time for sleeping, time to reflect, think, do her writing/reading.
I don't know how people are going to make it in life with these ever increasing gas, food prices! We don't have to worry so much ourselves, but I feel bad for friends who are middle-class, poor: how they are managing is beyond me.
I sometimes help out at church (when I'm there), distributing food baskets to the needy, giving them a little money. I know it is God's will for me to help others, so I do it; and it makes me feel good, too. And I know God's going to honor me.
And He has, tenfold. I have a beautiful wife, two lovely sons, healthy sons, and life is really good now--just very busy.
If I could take some time off work, I would, but we need the money to raise our family, tackle these high food prices!
Well, I am going to go now; at work, am fixin' to get off break. Don't know when I will get the time to write in here again, but I will write again! You haven't heard the last from me, Franklin Jefferson! (Or M'Kaya!)
~Franklin. :)
