My name's Colton Blaze.  Colton Blaze Ramey.  Yeah, that's my whole name. :)  I am four years old, and I play bluegrass music.

I have been playing bluegrass music since I could walk and talk.  I play fiddle:  taught myself, watchin' my daddy play.  I liked how he sounded, so I picked up the fiddle; now I can play.  It's fun!

We have our own bluegrass family band.  We're known as the Ramey Bluegrass Bunch.  Besides me, there's mommy, daddy, my big brother Casey (he's seven), and my big sister Arianna (she's six).  We play all over the south, mainly in Kentucky, where we live.

We have sang/picked at many bluegrass festivals, even some Opry shows.  People say we're good; maybe we are; I really don't know. LOL

I just play because I love the music so much!

My favorite bluegrass song: "Orange Blossom Special".  That was really hard for me to learn; it's so fast!  By the time I'm done, I'm so tired I could just go to sleep right on stage! LOL

When I get bigger, I want to sing on the Grand  Ole Opry.  That's in Nashville, Tennessee.  That's like the big place for bluegrass/country music singers/pickers.  If I could be there, I think I'd be on top of the world; I love listening to the Opry on Saturday nights!!

Well, I gotta go.  Gotta go to nursery school.  Maybe teacher will let me play my fiddle today.  I love to make her, the other kids smile with my music.  When they do that, I feel like a star!  I love that happy feeling!!
