Dear Journal~

Hey!  Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux here!

Sorry for not writing; have been very busy, what with homework nearly every night, church doin's, going to school, therapy/doctor appointments, etc.  Just haven't had much time to myself lately; seems that things are only becoming busier as the end of the year approaches.

Seems hard to believe that school is about over for another year.  Am almost done with ninth grade; next fall, I'll start my second year of high school, where I'll be a sophmore.  Am doing well in school, but it's not getting any easier; courses getting more challenging, more demanding.

I'll be glad when school is over.  That way I can sleep in (except on therapy days; have no say there!), and I can do whatever I choose (just so it's in within reason of my parents, plus church).  I always enjoy the vacations, the time spent with family/friends, the warmer weather, just enjoying life.

Next week or the week after, we're going to Louisiana for the annual Crawfish Festival in Breaux Bridge.  We go to the Crawfish Festival every year, and sometimes I perform there. 

I'm performing there this year; I'm sandwiched right between Belton Richard and Hunter Hayes on Saturday night.  Am really looking forward to it; I always have the best time there! :) 

After the Crawfish Fest is the CMA Music Fest here in Nashville, then I go to Hollywood for my chance to appear on the televised segment of "America's Got Talent". 

Hopefully I'll do okay, but if not, oh, well.  I can try again, or else I can just concentrate on being a normal kid, concentrate on my ministry for Christ, bring others the Message of salvation.

No biggie there. 

The family is doing great:  no complaints, no unexpected hospital stays or sickness.  Hope this continues; I hate it when we have to spend time in the hospital (for whatever reason it may be!); it gets boring there at times!  And this is not when I'm not an actual patient! LOL  That's even worse!!

Whoever says you get rest in the hospital is a big, fat liar because I speak from experience:  you don't!! 

The weather here is nice, but tomorrow we may have rain moving in.  No wonder I'm hurtin'! *OW*  My body's realllly talkin'!  (Just call me "The Human Barometer", 'cause my body never lies about weather coming in! LOL)  I took a nice, hot, soaking bath earlier, took my nightly meds; am waiting for it to kick in.  Until then, pain and agony!! LOL

Well, I'm gettin' sleepy, gettin' stupid, so I'll cut on out of here.  School tomorrow; gotta get my beauty sleep! LOL  I'll write in here again another time (hopefully before we go to Louisiana and the Crawfish Fest)!  Until then, take care, and may God bless you!  This is your Cajun friend sayin' C ya!!
