Dear Journal~

Johnny here.  Don't have anything better to do, so I decided to write in here, my journal.  Am sitting in Study Hall, bored out of my ever-lovin' mind!!

I had a good weekend:  no complaints, no new alarming worries regarding my MD or my breathing; right now it seems both my breathing issues/MD are behaving themselves.  Hope it continues; I don't want to end up in the hospital before we go to Louisiana next weekend for the Crawfish Festival!!

Church yesterday was good, it usually always is.  Our pastor preached about living as Jesus would, and how our words/actions influence people more than what you may think.  It was very revealing, and some people got convicted of things in their hearts. 

I really like our pastor, Pastor Bilkey.  He's been with our church for over 15 years, and he really knows how to get the Message across to people.  He has a heart full of love for people, not to mention, the Lord. 

I also love the worship/praise before the preaching.  We really get into the music, and church is a very lively place come worship time!!

It was rainy last night and part of yesterday.  No severe weather, but we were awakened a few times from the heavy thunder/bright lightning flashes.  My weather radio didn't go off; all we got out of it was a lot of heavy rains. 

Now it's clearing out, and it promises to be nice weather for the next several days until the next system moves through the Tennessee Valley.

On Thursday, we are leaving early in the morning for our annual trek to Louisiana.  We're going to the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival.  We go every year (or just about every year). 

We always have the greatest time there, and this year, I'm performing (Saturday night, with Belton Richard).  Ronee' performs just before me.  Hopefully (she) or I will do a good job; I don't like messing up on stage, and neither does she!

After the Crawfish Festival we get a few weeks' rest until June, for the CMA Music Festival here in Nashville.  Ronee' and I are performing there, too; we got invited.  Ronee' will sing during the Cajun Show, and I will sing during the Young Talent Search. 

In June is also Ronee' 's audition for America's Got Talent in Hollywood.  If she does well there, she'll go to Las Vegas for the televised semi-finals.  That is, if she makes it through.  If not, it's the end of the road for her.  I hope she does good; if not, I'll be so disappointed!  She deserves to go all the way; she's way more talented than I will ever be!!

In addition to all that, we will be performing at the Memorial Day tribute at Centennial Park, and we will be singing at other local festivals around the Nashville metro area.  Summer is always a busy time for performing.

When I'm not peforming, I'll be sleeping in until 2/3 in the afternoon, swimming, going to therapy (that's a pain, but I have to do it), reading, playing on the computer, or playing with my video games, as well as watching the boob tube (Nickolodeon, Sponge Bob Squarepants or Aahh! Real Monsters).  I plan to have a good summer; now if my health behaves itself, I'll be happy!!

Being in the hospital during the summer is the worst!!
