Golden Corral Restaurant~
Dear Journal~
Bill here. Bill Sandusky, if you don't know that by now. LOL
Am siting here at the table at Golden Corral, waiting for my wife to finish up with some of the children in the restroom, and also for some of the slowpokes to finish up with their desserts. We had a great meal, as we always do when we come here after church.
If we don't eat here at the Golden Corral, we eat either at Denney's or at Fire Mountain. Either way, we still get a good lunch after church, and it satisfies our hunger pains. LOL
Church was wonderful today. Pastor spoke about idol worship and how it's wrong to put things that are not of God's will first before him, and what can happen if we do this. It was a good sermon, really eye opening.
The music was good. The presence of the Lord was very powerful today. The little boy who got healed a few weeks ago from cancer was there, and it was good to see him (not to mention, his family) looking so happy. God has done a wonderful thing for that family; I pray nothing but continued blessings for them all!

It always happens; it never fails. Every time Enriquesa wears her favorite white dress, she gets something on it. She spilled jello on it; there's no way that stain is going to come out short of a miracle! She really did a number on herself. Silly girl!
Roberto is singing loudly, people are looking at him. Whenever he's happy, he sings, in his off-key manner. Sometimes he'll sing songs he heard from church, other times he'll sing stuff from television or the radio. Now he's singing "You're Beautiful"; people are smiling at him.
He's in a good mood, too. That's a rarity. Teenage hormones raging inside his body; he can get pretty moody when you least expect it. One minute he's happy, the next, he's throwing a fit, waving his crutches, screaming obscenities at the person who made him mad. It's always embarrassing whenever he does this, especially in public or at church.
This is when I wish I could find a rock and crawl right underneath it. LOL
Lightning called earlier yesterday: she and her family are going to the Crawfish Festival, too; maybe we'll run into them there. It will be great to see the grandchildren again. They've been there once before (Lightning and husband), but the kids haven't; it will be a new, eye opening experience for them. I am sure they'll have a great time!
The Crawfish Festival is this weeked; we leave for Louisiana on Wednesday, after Louie gets off work (she works until 12 noon that day). We'll then come get the kids, load 'em up, and be on our way to Cajun Country. We cannot wait!!
I pray nothing but good travel and good weather for us this weekend as we head for Louisiana!
We always have the best time there! Lots of good Cajun food--not to mention, lots of good Cajun music, Cajun dancing, Cajun bon temps!!
As my wife says, "Aiiieee"!!! LOL
We'll be in Louisiana from Friday until Wednesday of next week, almost a week. (Not long enough, in my opinion!) It'll be good to get away from work, even if only for a little while!
The kids are looking forward to being out of school for a few days, and of course, they are looking forward to all that wonderful festival food and music that makes the Crawfish Festival so special!
Well, the gang's all here, so I guess this means I need to move 'em out and sign off for now. Guess everyone's ready to go. I will write in here again, probably when we're in Breaux Bridge. I hope this finds y'all blessed beyond measure, and I will talk to you soon! So long for now!
