My name is Taggot Rose Wilson, and I'm ten years old.
If you're not familiar with me, that is okay. I live with my parents Mirna and Tony Wilson, as well as my two little sisters Nickole and Rayven (they're six and eight) and my two little brothers Hunter (five) and Nickolas (two). We have a dog, an Old English sheepdog named "Boy", who is a klutz and a half! LOL
I live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I love it here: in the summer it's not too hot, and we can always go to the mountains if it gets too stifling hot. In the winter, we can go skiing at the ski resort near our place; I've been skiing since I was a small child, and I'm very good at it. I love skiing; it's one of my favorite things to do!
My family is okay, but my little brother Hunter is disabled. He cannot walk without crutches or leg braces for shorter trips (on longer trips he uses a wheelchair), and sometimes he gets sick. He ends up in the hospital when this happens, and it always scares me.
When I grow up, I want to help kids like my little brother. If I can make any difference in their lives, to make their lives better, then it will be worth it.
I think I would be very good at helping kids who are handicapped.
I was kinda disappointed in "American Idol" last night. The guy I wanted to win didn't. David Cook won instead of David Archleta; I thought David A. was the better of the two, the one who should have won. David Cook won by 12 million votes. Not even close for the other David. Darn!
I hope good things happen to David Archuleta; he's young, he's incredibly talented, and he's super sweet in nature. Good things are going to him; I feel it in my heart!
I also watched "Dancing With the Stars" on Monday; Kristi Yamaguchi, Olympic figure skater, and her partner (Fabian; I forget his last name) won. They were flawless. I was hoping they'd pull it off; they did.
No surprise there.
Well, I gotta get ready for school; bus due to come in an hour. I'd better not be late, or mom'll be mad; she doesn't like it when we miss the bus. I will write in here again another day; take care and God bless!

P.S.: Sad news: Steven Curtis Chapman's youngest daughter, five-year-old Mia, was killed by her teenaged brother; he accidentally ran over her; he didn't see her until it was too late. I will have to say a prayer for the Chapmans. (This happened yesterday afternoon.)
Well the two Davids have an incredible life ahead of them....and that sad news ...the worst thing to ever happen is for you to accidentaly kill someone more so your own! Such pain!
Such a touching and heartfelt write my friend. I think growing up with a sister who needed my help due to her disability helped me to have a desire to help children. It was a blessing when I taught at the high school level, there were two sisters whom had the same vision problem that my sister has, no one seemed to know how to help them in the computer room, because they didn't truly understand their problem. I took extra time and gave them extra attention working to make their computers work for them. I hadn't seen them in a long time and found out recently that one of our janitors who is a wonderful person is their father. We had discussion about the girls and I discovered that both had graduated college, one is now a teacher the other an accountant! He also thanked me for helping them while they were in high school! It's a small world...I explained that I had grown up helping my own sister whom had the same vision disability so I understood. Anyway, a great story...Sad news though, the ending was a shocker! They are in my prayers, as is your dad...

Such a fine write Karen, and the sad news at the end was a shock to me, I hadn't heard it.They have my prayers, it is such a difficult trial to go through! Only God can truly help them recover, along with support from famiily and friends.

Oh! The sad news... That is so hard! I had two friends whose little sisters were killed in similar accidents while I was growing up. I remember how difficult it was for them...
Taggot's a wonderful little girl, wanting to make life better for those like her brother - more should be this compassionate! And what a sad ending - well done.
All the younger ones seem to like David Archuleta. However, the more mature audience seems to lean toward David Cook. They are both very talented. I'm sorry that Archuleta didn't win. However, I'm glad David Cook is the winner, for there's not really a "well-mannered rock star" for a long time, and David Cook fits that good character description and sings well.

sometimes bad things happened for a reason...the handicapped brother making her sister want to help others. But oh, what a tragic ending.

Like having the elation of seeing a kite been taken by the wind, to own a little piece of the skies, and then...the crash, the happening at the end of that string that we can't do nothing about, and the barrage of if...which would be there until our final day.
