Taggot writes in her journal upon waking up.

Sunday, June 8, 2008, Jackson Hole, Wyoming~

Dear Journal~

Taggot Rose here.  Just woke up not even ten/fifteen minutes ago; good morning!  Hope this finds you happy and well!

I am okay; this week is the last week of school; I canNOT wait!!  I am sick of school; I am more than ready for summer vacation to start!!

I just hope my little brothers or sisters don't bug me, like they're known to do, especially the littlest ones.  They're always getting into my things; they drive me bat-crazy!!  I wish they were in school so I wouldn't have to look at them all danged weekend!!

Hunter (he's the one with Spina Bifida) just got out of the hospital; he had to have his meds adjusted, nothing serious, but the docs wanted to keep a close eye on him.  He was only in for two days; he's back home; got out yesterday, and already he's getting spoiled!

Kinda' makes me wish I were born disabled--that way I wouldn't be ignored so much by my family!  I feel like I don't exist sometimes because I'm the oldest!!

The weather here is cold: highs in the sixties, while other parts of the country are either baking or soaking wet from storms.  Had to wear my flannels last night; it got into the thirties, and the heater came on.  Guess winter is still trying to hang on!!  It may warm up later this week, but we may have some storms.  Hopefully they won't be as bad as they've been in the central plains or the midwest; they can use a break from all this wild weather!!

It's only six here, a quarter to seven.  I'm the only one up; even "Boy", our dog, is snoozin'  on the bed; he's snoring; he sounds like an old man with emphysema! LOL  It's hiLARious!!

Well, I am going to get ready, wash up, get ready for church; want to get a head start before my family hogs the bathroom!  Take care; will write in here again! Love ya!

~Taggot. :D

I have a disabled child, and several times his brother said he wished he were disabled too, maybe I'd love him more. Disabled children do need more attention, and it is so difficult to keep a balance. And I know it's difficult for the healthy child.

It is hard for the sibling of a disabled child, I remember reading something about that in a book with a title something like My Sibling is Disabled, it went to go on to talk about what makes it difficult for the able bodied child, and often those children feel guilty for being well, this is a well written piece
God Bless

To be sick of school is nothing new, what is new is the tolerance of bullying, name calling, and gangs...since they banish that whackruler.

I wonder how many kids have made that remark, "I'm sick of school." Taggot doesn't sound too happy here. She's not looking toward a very exciting summer. Hope things get better for her.
