Dear Journal~

Good morning!!  I just woke up not even fifteen minutes ago; let me get my brain in gear!

T'is I, Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux.  I am now on summer vacation; can sleep in to noon or even two if I so desire!  I have at least until after Labor Day to have nothin' but fun, fun, and even more fun!! :)

Tomorrow we start gettin' ready for the CMA Music Festival here in Nashville; it's always a big weekend for country music fans and singers!  I've been going to the CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair ever since I was really small; and I love it!! 

Maybe I'll see my girl, Loretta Lynn, there!  I hope so; I really love that lady!!  She's tops on my list of favorites; always has been, always will be! :)

On Saturday, I will be performing on the Cajun Music Show; hopefully I will do well!   I always look forward to hittin' that stage, playin' and singin' my Cajun music for the people!! :D

Johnny is performing too; I'm not the only one.  He will be performing on the Cajun Show too, and he'll also be performing earlier in the day; he gets to perform twice.  (Lucky! LOL)  I hope he knocks the socks off the crowd!! :)

Next week is my audition in "Lost Wages" (Las Vegas), for a chance to appear on "America's Got Talent".  I am gettin' nervous; I hope I don't blow it again!!  Seems I do great during minor auditions or performances, but when the big one comes, I always end up chokin'!! It's gettin' way past annoying!!

I just hope Piers Morgan or Sharon Osbourne don't rip me apart like a pair of hungry lions!  I am not so worried about what David Hasselhoff might think; he's too nice!  (Most of the time!) 

Last year a ventriloquist from near Dallas, Texas (Terry Fator) won the big prize; the year before that it was 11-year-old Bianca Ryan, who sang Aretha Franklin or Janis Joplin-type material.  Hopefully 2008 will be the Year of the Cajun!  LOL

If I win, super!! If not, oh, well!  Maybe I'll just give my auditioning for tv a rest for good!  I guess I am not meant to be super-famous!! 

I am not giving up on my dream; I'm just tryin' to be realistic here.  I guess people aren't ready for me.  I intimidate them.  I don't know why, but I do. Maybe it's because I'm too outgoing, too outspoken for my own good.  Maybe it's because I'm too nice to people.  Maybe it's because of my physical disabilities.  I don't know, but I guess I don't have that certain "spark" that sets me apart; I'm just like any other "Taylor Swift or Carrie Underwood wannabes".

Maybe that's why I concentrate on doing the classic country or the Cajun stuff, because that's not the norm.  And believe me, there's not anything "normal" about me! LOL

After all that talent stuff is out of the way, I  have the "Nashville Fourth of July BLAST!" thing to look forward to, as well as our trip to Cedar Point and Louisiana in August.  I don't know how we are going to do it with gas being so high, but God will make a way; I have to learn to trust in Him, and know that as long as I lean on Him, He'll provide the funds, the way, to get us where we need to be.

He always has before; why doubt Him now?? God is a Miracle Worker; with God, all things are possible, ya know??

Well, gang, I am going to get myself some grub for breakfast, then get dressed.  Then I will decide what I will do once I am more aware.  I will write in here again, probably on Sunday or so, after the CMA Music Festival is over.  I'll let ya know how it goes.  And then maybe I'll write before I leave for Las Vegas next week, will keep you informed about that, too.  Just keep me in your prayers, pray my performances go well, without any problems to kink up the works!
