     Opportunity only knocks once..

Stephen came to the diner as usual on  Sunday morning. He was the most charming man available. A doctor by profession, he's handsome, smart, funny and a good catch. He smiled at me, "hey, you look good today, i wonder if that's latte you're having. I smiled and gave him that sexy gaze."Good grief, is he drunk or something"I was on my coffee break and looked so tired.Little did i realise that he handed a piece of paper, written his phone number on it.OH!God!I can't believe the guy of my dream gave me his phone number.

That day, i did nothing, but dream of him. Wondering how our children will look like if we get married.I was excited, happy and feeling on cloud nine.Michelle, my housemate was wondering, why i was acting so weird."What's wrong with you Sara?" "Nothing!!"

I hesistated calling him, because i was so scared that he will not remember me. "What if, he forgets about me?" "What if, he doesn't like me,What if i'm not good-looking enough for him".That whole week went by, because i did not have enough guts to call him.

On Saturday night, while on the way to the mall, i heard a laughter at the back on my ear. I could hear Stephen's voice  with another woman. It's can't be. I turned around."Yes!" he was with another woman, holding hands. She's just a plain looking woman compared to me.

"Hey you, what happened?I've never received your phone call, thought you're not intrested" I was toungue-tied and felt like dying. In front of me could have been the love of my life, but because i was too scared and kept on backing off, i lost what could have been a start of a new beginning.

From now on, i can't be bothered thinking of "What If". Once the opportunity knocks, just grab it without hesitating, as you're only given once chance in life.
