Ronee' updates us on her testimony that she will be giving at church on Sunday.

I am a living, walking, talking, breathing miracle of God's grace and mercy.

I was born nearly sixteen years ago in Louisiana, not expected to survive my premature birth (weighed under two pounds; I was really tiny), and to make matters worse, my parents, my real parents, abandoned me.  Not a good way to start out in life, folks.

God, however, had other plans.  I was adopted into a family that loved me.  I've been with that family ever since, and I couldn't be more grateful.

Anyway, I battled back from my early problems, determined to survive; however, at the age of fifteen months, I was gravely injured in an accident that threatened to kill me.  I was in a three month long coma; was not expected to survive.  It took a very long time for me to get well.

I still have some residual problems from that early accident, yet it's never stopped me from accomplishing what I wanted to do in life.

For most of my childhood, I battled terrible allergies and asthma attacks that had put me into the hospital more times than I can remember; it seemed that I was always going to the emergency room for my breathing or my allergies.  I can't tell you how many times the ambulance had to be sent on my behalf or how many times the paramedics had to fight to save me.

Now that I'm older, it seems my asthma problems have about disappeared:  I haven't had an asthma attack in months, and I am breathing much, much easier.

Guess my lungs needed room to grow. :)

In addition to my asthma, I also have juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, which is why I walk on two canes.  Sometimes crutches, but mostly my canes, or if I'm really flaring, my wheelchair.  I am often in pain, and sometimes the pain gets so severe I end up getting sick:  get rashes, have a fever, get nauseated.  I sometimes end up in the hospital because of it; my normal meds don't touch it, and I need something much stronger.  It's always a hard time for me whenever this happens.

It is very hard to live with pain; it rules my life, especially when it's extremely cold or raining out.  I have to take it easy, slow down, until it settles.

I try not to let my pain get me down; I tend to keep myself busy.  I have too much to do, too much to see.  I am a normal teenager who loves to talk on the phone, listen to music (all kinds, mostly country or gospel), sing for people, read, write poetry or stories, travel, go to concerts, make new friends.

That's my one of my biggest passions in life.  Singing.  God's gifted me with the ability to sing, and if I can't tell people about Christ, what He's done in my life, I might as well tell them in song.  It seems to work.

I've been singing practically my whole life, and I love it!!  I've performed at the Grand Ole Opry several times, have sung at different festivals, fairs, and organizations throughout the years, and ever since I accepted Christ at the age of seven, my singing's really taken off.  It's incredible how God's been using me, my music, to minister to the masses!

I was always going to church, but I didn't personally know Jesus until I was seven.  I went to see a play at the church my daddy attended (at the time, mom and us kids went to a different church than daddy; we were raised Catholic), and it changed me.  So much, in fact, I decided to accept Christ, which was exactly what I did.

I haven't been the same since.  I'm now on fire for Christ, and one of my main missions in life is to spread His message of saving grace to people, particularly the young.  If there's any group of people who need to hear the message, it's our young people, people like myself.

God's anointed me with a zeal, a passion that I can't contain.  When I sing His message in song, I get loud, and sometimes I act all crazy.  I can't help it.  His spirit moves me to the point to where I can't help but cry, or even yell out, as I sing, or witness to people.  He's been so good to me, I want to share my joy with others.

Now I'm studying to go into the missions field; there's no telling what He has in store for me then.  It's exciting to think what opportunities await for me in the future!

I still want to sing; however, I also want to preach.  Maybe I can even become a pastor, have my own church.  Yeah, buddy, God has been movin' strongly in my life, and now that His coming is nigh, I'd best get busy, try to win more souls for the kingdom!  I have to do what's required of me!

I always like to say God isn't finished with me yet.  And He isn't!  He has some mighty big plans for me, and I might as well seize them as they come my way!!

God's been good to me; He can be good to you if you just believe.  That's all it takes.  Simple!  It's not hard if you just give God a chance.  He changed me; He can most definitely change you and your life!

Ronee, yes God has had other plan for you, and those you call crutches are in reality the wings He gave you, not only to support your body but to hold your faith upright.
Pain is a blessing, because through pain we know we are alive, and that wish to sing is the wish He gave all the angels.
I am sure that your Testimony will be heard long above your church.

Georg
