Dear Journal~

Bill here.  Last time I wrote was on July 4th, nearly three weeks ago.  I have been busy; this is why I haven't written.  Between sharing parenting duties with my wife and working at the store, I just don't have much free time to myself anymore.  The only day I do is Saturday--and that's usually filled with home repairs or duties like cutting the lawn or making sure the yard is all picked up, looking nice.

Thank God I have the older kids to help out; I can't do it all by myself!  And besides, the body wouldn't let me! LOL  I may be forty-some years old, but my body is convinced it's seventy; feel like I'm there already! LOLOL

Back no longer the issue here; mainly hips and especially KNEES!! OW! LOL

Work has been going well, but I am getting frustrated with the shoplifters.  Nabbed another one yesterday; the dude tried to walk out with a laptop.  Saw the bulge uner his clothes (which were baggy, I guess, in order to hide the evidence).  I leaned over, grabbed one of my crutches, tripped the dude.  He went down; store security was all over him like white on rice.  He did not get away.

The laptop, unfortunately, got a bit busted up.  Whoops.  Least it didn't get out of the store. 

And I'm being called a hero.  I don't see myself as one; I was just doing my job.  They'll probably make a big ole fuss when I get to work at 10:00.

Hope not.

Louie has been working gobs of hours at the hospital; I hardly see her unless it's when we go to bed, and then we talk very little because one of us is too tired to talk.  We usually end up falling fast asleep until the baby monitor goes off or one of the kids wakes up crying or calling out for us. 

Sometimes I'm lucky if I get six hours of sleep a night!!  No wonder I'm so tired lately; am not getting the rest I need!  Same with my wife!!

Nobody has been sick to warrent a trip to the hospital; however, with our brood, you can never tell when an ambulance may be needed. 

I pray this continues, the lull in ambulance calls or emergency room visits!  I can get used to this!! :)

Church is going to have a Game Night.  Games for all will be offered.  Food will be provided.  If we don't have to work, we always go.  It's a good way for the kids to blow off steam or excess energy and lets us adults fellowship with one another.

Well, the babies are up; I hear them cooing in their cribs, so I will deal with them.  I will write in here again soon; hopefully I won't wait as long!  Until later, this is Bill saying God bless and so long for now!
