The contestant had successfully completed all five rounds and was sitting on the £1m (or $1.3m) final question. She asked to hear the question first.

The Quiz master gave the following four options to the question. Which Bird dose not build its own nest?  Was it the.....

a) Buzzard

b) Parakeet

c) Cuckoo

d) Wren

The contestant thought for a moment. She was unsure. This was a big decision for a lot of money. She saw she had only one life left so she phoned her friend, a dizzy Blond friend. She ran over the question and gave the four possible answers for the big prize money.

The Blond said "C,  or B yes,tricky,  I think C the Cuckoo.

The contestant won the big prize and took her Blond friend out for a celebratory meal. Over the starter she asked her why she had hesitated with the answer.

"Ah you see. Some Parakeet live in cages and call out "Give us a kiss" so he''s a lodger. But everyone  knows cuckoos live in Swiss Clocks."
