Michiko Osaka writes in her journal prior to starting her day. She has the day off from work today.

Thurs., July 24, 2008~

Dear Journal~

Michiko Osaka writing.  I hope this finds you well.  Sorry for not writing; I dropped my laptop, had to get another one when I got my stimulus check in the mail.  Clutzy me! LOL

I'm always doing stupid stuff like that.  Like one time, I sent an e-mail, thinking I'd sent it to my friend.  I sent it to myself.  LOL

Another time, I was trying to make eggs for breakfast, put milk into the eggs instead of butter; burned the crap out of them.  What a stench!!  YUCKO! LOL

A third example of my stupidness was I had dressed myself, only to discover I'd put my pants on backwards (plus someone  had the brainy idea to make an observation about it).  I had to quickly go to a nearby restroom to fix the problem.

Talk about embarrassing!!

I am off work today; have been working steadily for the past few months.  I last wrote in February or so; it's now July.  Where does the time go so fast??

I haven't been doing much, just working, trying to get the bills paid, trying to replace my broken laptop.  I also moved in my new apartment shortly after my last entry; it's nice.  It's an apartment complex for people with disabilities; I have met many nice neighbors.

We sit outside on our porches in the evening, where we shoot the breeze, just enjoy the cooler temperatures.  Been hot here; will be glad when fall comes!!

I don't do hot weather very well.

At least we don't have to worry about hurricanes.  Speaking of hurricanes, Dolly visited southern Texas, dumped a lot of rain on her.  Don't remember if anyone was killed or not, but I'm sure there's a lot of flooding going on!

We made it through the severe spring; so far, we  haven't had any bad storms since.  I am thankful, especially since I got displaced by a tornado; had to stay in a shelter for a while.  It was not fun!

Now it's just HOT!!!  Oh, we get rain, pop up showers or storms, but when they go away in the evening, we're left with higher temps, which makes it feel even hotter.  UCH!  If there's one thing I HATE to do it's sweat!!!!

Well, I am going to get up; my dog is whining; guess he's hungry.  He won't let up until I feed him.  I will write in here again soon; take care and God bless!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend, Michiko Osaka. :)

This is the fifth time I try to upload the review, the page freezes and I need to restart the PC (what a drag!)
If I remember well, I told about my friends living in Shisuoka which have experimented everything the weather fancy to them.
Now i am really frustrated! ! ! ! !

So nice to see Michiko Osaka again - been a while. Dropped laps tops and still, she can laugh - I'd be cussin' all over the where! LOL An excellent story, full of shining humor.
