Let me begin this series by stating that it is not my intention to make one believe the same way that I believe, It is impossible. Religion, Faith, Beliefs and Spirituality is a personal and an individual thing. I am not asking you to beleive in God, Jesus and angels. I am just writing about a series of events that has happened to me. I ask that you read them with an open mind and then formulate your own opinion.

Introduction To Joe The Messenger
Taken from the book,"The Voices Within Us" By Jim Stewart

In this series, I talk about my encounters with Joe the Messenger--How I met him and the related stories that followed. His vast wisdom and ability to comfort someone is greater than anyone  I have ever met. He is truly blessed. I hope that everyone can meet someone like Joe in their lifetime. When you do you will cherish that moment forever and know that he was a gift sent to you.

Meeting Joe the Messenger

One Sunday night, I was sitting on the back porch when the angels spoke to me. They said,"Jim, Tomorrow you will meet a man named Joe and he will bring you peace." All the way to work the next morning, I kept receiving the same message, "Your will meet a man named Joe today and he will bring you peace." I got outof my car and started to walk toward the building where I work. Suddenly a voice from behind me said, "You have been talking with your angels." I turned around and saw a man that I never met before. He was short in stature, with black hair and seemed to be of Oriental descent. I said sheepishly,"Could be." He then said, "No, you have been talking to you angels. I see them all around you." He then said,"My friend, I was sent here to give youa hug." When this stranger gave me that hug, it was as if I stuck my finger in a light socket. I felt the electricity go throughout my entire body. I started to introduce myself when he said, "I Know, you're Jim. My name is Joe. I was sent here to give you a hug." It was hard for me to beleive my ears, but the angels had told me that a man named Joe would bring me peace. I started crying as a warm feeling came over me.

As quickly as out encounter took place, he was gone. I felt like I was visited by God's "Lone Ranger of Peace."
