Dear Journal~
Bill here. Hope this finds y'all well; it's been crazy here (it usually is, that's nothing new! LOL).
Wife has been working extra hours; she's quickly nearing the point of exhaustion. I'm getting worried about her; she needs to rest, sleep more. Louie's starting to look rather ghastly in appearance: raccoon eyes, bags underneath, pale face, more wrinkles/lines than usual. It looks like she's aged twenty years.
I think I'm going to call her place of work, give 'em a piece of my mind!
Kids are getting ready to go to church; they are running around, making sure they have all they need. It's pure madness. Some are goofing off, yelling, laughing, squealing; I keep telling them to be quiet as Ronee' is sick in bed and needs to rest. (Ronee' has a sinus infection; she woke up with it yesterday. She's really miserable.)
Now Johnny is going by, toilet paper stuck to the wheel of his chair; looks like he's got a tail! Wait a minute; be right back! LOL
Am back. Johnny's been "de-tailed". LOL Didn't even realize he had t.p. stuck to his wheel. Must have been in the restroom. Other than that (and his shirt collar tucked inside his neck and shirt buttoned wrong), he looks terrific! (NOT! He looks more like a ragamuffin! LOL)
A father's work is never done! *sighhhh*
We're in the middle of getting ready for church, then once the gang is ready, we can shove 'em out, load up the bus, and then we're off. It's always a huge production number to get everyone loaded in less than ten minutes; doesn't always work out that way. Ahhh, such as life with larger families! LOL
I swear we need a drill sergeant around these parts! That'd speed up things in a hurry. LOLOL
Susie Callaway is in the hospital again, according to Louie. Don't know the exact details yet, but will have to put her on the prayer chain at church. Hopefully it's nothing serious. I pray it isn't! Maybe that's another reason why Louie's been quieter than usual.
That's her problem. Instead of taking time for herself or caring for herself, Louie is too busy worrying about others. She's only going to end up getting sick with high blood pressure or other health problems if she doesn't quit it!!
I keep telling her to slow down; she never listens. She's always been stubborn, worse than her papere! (And he's stubborn enough!! I know; live with the man! Sheesh!!)
Well, he's done it: Michael Phelps, the American swimming phenom, has won his eighth Olympic gold medal of the games in Beijing, China. He's shattered Mark Spitz's record, and now he may win his ninth if things go according to plan. The guy has been nothing short of incredible! It seems every time he gets into the water, amazing things happen! It's made for an exciting Olympics! I am so happy for him and all of our athletes who've worked so hard to reach this point!
Great. Now Arjun is howling. Fell right in front of me; smacked his nose on the floor. Tripped over the dog. Wait a minute; be right back while I deal with Arjun...
Okay. Am back. No damage to Arjun's face from the fall; just scared himself. He's going to be okay, thank goodness. Nothing that fatherly hugs or kisses couldn't fix! Daddies are very good at fixing things like this.
Well, I am going to have to go now, for real. Jodie's nutrition pump is singing; guess that means her feeding's about done. Will have to unhook her, then continue on our merry way as we (try) to make our way out the door and to our bus. If we get to the Golden Corral by the time it opens, I will consider that a bona fide miracle! LOL
Until next time, this is Bill saying take care! God bless!
~Bill. ;P *going CRAZY* LOL
