Check The Roses

Recently I took some roes over to some dear friends of mine, Chris and Anni. They were planning to have a party and I wanted them to have them for the party. They next day came and I had planned on attending the party, but I had come down with the flu.

The day after the party, my friends called to see how I was doing because the roses had wilted and they knew something was wrong. I apologized to them for not making the party and told them that I had come down with the flu. They tried to revive the roses, but they were dead. A couple of days later, I was back to my old self and Chris and Anni called to ask if I was doing better. They said, "You must be doing better because those roses came back to life."In fact the roses looked fresher than when I had given them to them.

I can not explain why the roses acted as a barometer. Ican only guess. For now, I will leave the message where it rests.
