This is a true story of how God used Jerry, a Trucker Evangelist Chaplain with the Association of Christian Truckers at the Little Grace Chapel located in Milton, Pennsylvania to impact the lives of drivers who had entertained thoughts of suicide but had their lives changed forever when they met the grace of God in a Truckstop revival.
Beloved Readers, back in the early and late 1990's, God showered tremendous blessings at Truckstop revivals that Jerry will never forget, and on one occasion, Jerry was at a Jesus Jamboree held by Chaplain Kris Tackitt in Milton, Pennsylvania Associations of Christiaan Truckers Little Grace Chapel
Beloved, Chaplain Kris had asked Jerry to preach for her and the Holy Spirit confirmed his need to sign up for a route shipping just-in-time automotive freight that would take him from Michigan through Canada to Avenel, New Jersey, and back to Michigan for several weeks which would take him by the Truckstop in Milton, Pennsylvania every night.
Beloved, this would normally be a grueling run, driving close to seven hundred miles a day but when God is in it, no telling what might happen and Jerry was blessed with amazing stamina throughout the entire three-week period.
Beloved, Jerry would arrive every night at the truck stop and preach under the tent, this included all day Saturday and Sunday.
Saints, one Saturday Jerry preached on the Eagles, and Jerry was unaware at the time, but a pair of Eagles had flown down from the mountain and circled the area behind him while he was preaching.
Beloved, the drivers testified that the eagles circled during the entire sermon, and when the sermon ended, the eagles drifted off.
Dear readers, suddenly, a tractor-trailer came in behind Jerry and the loud noise of his air breaks attracted some attention.
Beloved, Jerry glanced up to see one of the largest murals of an eagle that he had ever seen painted on the side of the truck.
Beloved readers, Jerry pointed to a driver and said, “I can’t keep preaching until I deliver this message from the Holy Ghost to you sir, God says He sees your broken heart and feels your pain. If you will put Him first you can have your home back."
Saints, Jerry had never met this man, and he knew nothing about him, however, he talked with the man after the sermon and found out that he had left his truck with thoughts of suicide because his wife had filed for a divorce and his home was in foreclosure.
Beloved, months later, the driver called Jerry at home to tell him that he had held on to the “word” that God gave Jerry to deliver and he had become a preacher.
Dear readers, the man informed Jerry that shortly after announcing his calling into the ministry, God completely restored his marriage and his home.
Dear Saints, this is a prime example of evangelism stretching forth through the power of Christ.
Beloved, the restored evangelist said, to Jerry “Preacher, now I’m one of those eagles dropping pieces of fresh meat to other eagles on the ground who are going through their times of molting, bringing encouragement so they too can be renewed.
Dear Saints, Jerry's sermon had been on: (Psalms 103:1-5) (1) "Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name." (2) " Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:" (3) Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;" (4) "Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies;"(5) Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagles."
Dear readers, another example of God's blessings flowing during a truck stop revival is the mercy of God reaching out to a driver who had lost his family.
Beloved, we discovered later that the driver's wife was in the process of filing for a divorce and his in-laws had him arrested for molesting his children (a false accusation).
Saints, the driver had left his truck planning to kill himself but decided to attend the service he heard announced over the loudspeakers that the Guardian Angel would be preaching in the parking lot by the chapel.
Beloved, God gave Jerry (The Guardian Angel) (Jerry's CB call sign) a word for him during the service telling him that the Lord says that if he will put him first his wife will follow.
Saints, Jerry met him later and was told that he too had held onto the word from God delivered by Jerry telling him that the false charges against him for molesting his children were dropped.
Dear readers, he informed Jerry that while in the Judge's chambers, discussing the level of child support he needed to give, his wife fell back in love with him, the divorce was canceled, and the man's home was restored.

How wonderful Jerry how the Lord using you as His conduit for bringing salvation good news! I do know there are far too many men out there still with suicidal despairs. They truly need our prayers, especially how many truckers face extreme pressures and stress of many kinds.. My husband and I had our own trucking business a few years ago and sold it because cab drivers were making more money than dry van haulers. The trips around the country were highly interesting and wouldn't have traded the jack rabbit feel. The laborers are few for a harvest that is huge!
