Dear Journal~

Hey!  Johnathon here.  Thought I'd write in here before I go toe bed for the night; have to get up for school tomorrow.

I am doing well:  no problems with school; school is hard, but I am doing okay.  'Couse, I have a tutor to help me with some of the harder assignments, plus my family helps, so I don't have to worry about flunkin' out.  We should be getting our first report cards within the next few weeks.

Wonder how well I'll do.  I'll just have to do some extra praying, pray I get some A's and B's, which would make me feel great! :)

Well, Ronee' is not too happy:  the one she wanted to win on AGT got booted off; she was one of the ones not advancing.  Kaitlyn did okay, but as Piers Morgan said, she's not million dollar material.  I agree.  She's okay, but she's not nearly as good as the other acts.  I think the public made the right decision in letting Kaitlyn Maher go.  She will no doubt move on to bigger, better things; I somehow feel this isn't the end of the line for her.

I told her (Ronee') that Kaitlyn needed to go; some people (like me) were getting tired of her.  She got mad, slugged me.  OW!  She hits hard!!  My arm's still sore!  Dirty rat child!! GRRR!

Not fair:  I can't fight back; maybe I ought to bite her one on the ear!!  That'll show her for being so cocky!!

Maman called:  she is doing okay, but she's missing us, can't wait to get back home (due home on Saturday, in the afternoon).  She's been in Galveston, Texas, helping out with relief efforts; Galveston is a mess, she said.  I will have to say some extra prayers for the people affected by the mess that Ike left behind.

I heard from my brother, Erick:  he's coming here for Thanksgiving; says it's been a while since he last saw me.  No kidding; it's been at least two/three years since I saw him last.  He can meet my newer brothers and sisters, and he can see for himself how well (or not so well, depending on how you look at it) I'm doing.  His family said it was okay.

I'm excited; I can't wait to see my real-life brother!!  This is going to be cool!! :)  We can hang out, get to know each other better, catch up on what's been going on in our lives!

The weather is cooling off; nights are chilly (for the msot part), days are warm, but the sun's setting sooner, days getting shorter.  Headin' towards autumn, which starts in a few days.  I can tell: some of the leaves are starting to change on the trees, and school (and football) is (are) in full swing.  Sure harbingers of fall.

Won't be long before the first snowflakes start flyin'! :)

Already the church is thinking about our upcoming Harvest Festival, which we have on Hallowe'en night.  The main headliners will be the McKameys; they are pretty good, as far as gospel singers/acts go, but I like the modern worship songs better.  Always have.  They expect another huge turnout, with games, costume contests, prizes, food, and even a car bash for the teenagers.  And of course there'll be the music, with the McKameys headin' the show.

Lookin' forward to the Harvest Festival; I always pig out on the candied apples and the candy corn!  YUM!! :)

Well, I am going to go; am getting stupid, sleepy; can't concentrate.  I will write in here again soon; take care and God bless! See you!
