Dear Journal~
Seems like we get ahead, and *wham!* We get hit right between the eyes again.
Wayne is in the hospital. He just got out not even a month ago; he has pneumonia. Seems he had a fever for the past few days, as well as a nagging cough; last night it seemed to get worse, so I took him to the emergency room.
They popped him right in. He's now in a regular room, on the medical floor, receiving antibiotics and other meds via IV, and he's on supplimental oxygen to help him breathe a little easier. He has a fever, and he is very miserable.
Of course, this has thrown a huge monkeywrench into the works. My sister is here, watching the children, while I while away the hours here at Nashville Memorial. Seems that the hospital is my second home.
The children are, understandably, concerned over their daddy. So am I. It seems that Wayne's in for one thing or another. If it isn't related to his spina bifida, it's something else.
Now, he isn't in danger of dying, but this will set his recovery back a little. Okay, more than a little; it is going to take him at least several months before he is back to where he was prior to having his heart attack.
Seems our troubles never end!
Just keep us in your prayers; we could really use 'em about now! Thanks!
Am off to the hospital; had to come home to get some stuff packed for my husband, and also throw on a change of clothes. I will write in here again probably in a few days, to let you know how Wayne's doing while in the hospital!
God bless!
~Love, your friend, Sarah Wright. :(
