Stinko writes in his journal prior to going to bed; he has to get up early tomorrow, as he has school.

Dear Journal~

Stinko here.  Sorry I haven't written; seems that ever since school started back up, I haven't had much time to do anything:  have had to do tons of homework just about every night.

School is really hard this year:  am taking Algebra, Creative Writing, Spanish Immersion, Social Studies, Science, Music Appreciation, Phys. Ed, and Study Hall.  Study Hall and Phys. Ed aren't so bad (neither is Creative Writing), but the other classes bite, especially Spanish Immersion and Algebra.  Those are the worst!!

Also I have been trying to get used to working:  that's right, I have a job.  I am working at a pizza delivery place every Friday and Saturday, which means no football games or hangin' out with my friends.  I have an obligation now, and I need to learn responsibility, according to the parental units.  It's annoying!!  (Job is okay, but the parents are drivin' me ass crazy!!)

I get my first paycheck next week; been working now for almost two weeks.  It will be a week and a day tomorrow; get my first check on Monday of the following week.  Confused??  LOL  (That's how the boss, Mr. Peters, explained it to me.  He's such a jerk-off, but as long as I don't hack him off, then he's cool with me and the others who work there.)

I don't do the delivering so much:  I stay behind at the place, help prepare the pizza.  I'm in charge of the cheese; by the time I get off work, I stink like the world's biggest piece of cheese, and I get worried that the rats might follow me home, try to take a good chunk out of my leg while walking home!! GAD!! If three's one thing I absolutely loathe, it's vermin, especially RATS!!

When I was little, my cousin, Gaby (Gabriela) was bitten in the face by a rat; she had to get painful rabies shots in the stomach, and it liked to have killed her!  I would go with her mom to her appointments, and years later I can still hear her screams in my mind; it was horrible beyond belief!

Ever since then, I fear rats with a purple passion!  Just the mere mention of the word is enough to give me the heeblie-jeeblies!!  *BRRRR*

I've seen my friend, Johnathon Sandusky, at school, and he's lookin' more like death every day.  I worry about his future.  Oh, his color's good and he is breathin' better, but he's lost all ability to walk, and he needs more help in doing things.  It's really sad because I can remember him walking on crutches like a little cheetah and his playing the fiddle like a champion!  He was really good!  Now all that's gone by the wayside of his stupid disease, and it makes me angry that a cure for MD or any other neuromuscular disease hasn't been found yet!!

I don't hate Johnny; I just hate his damn disease that he has to suffer from!!

I see him and it's all I can do to keep from crying!!

Our football team this year is really sucky:  we've lost our first two games already, and this Friday is our homecoming game.  We've had our first two games away, and the opposing teams have clobbered us:  we might as well not have shown up for the games; we got killed!!  The first game we lost something like 56-3, and last week, we lost 80-0.  We were the one with the zero.  *OUCH*

If we lose this Friday I'm going to bury my head in the sand, pretend I don't even go to Donelson Senior High School!

I will be helping out with church for our upcoming fall harvest festival.  I will be involved with the car smash; it will be noisy, but it will be a blast.  I will be handing out the mallets to the participants.  Now as long as they don't use the mallets on ME, I'll be okay with that!! LOL

Our church festival promises to be bigger this year.  We have the Kevin Spencer Family coming to sing/minister, and Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux, Johnathon's sister (dang, almost put Ronee' as his BROTHER!! LOL), will be opening for them.  I am not familiar with Kevin Spencer, but that's who they got playing.  Last year they had the McGruders, and they were awesome; talk about anointed!! WOW!

Our festival will go on for two days instead of one; they expect a huge turnout!

Well, I am going to go now; it's nearly nine thirty and I have to be up in the morning by five-thirty if I want to make it to school on time.  I will put this to bed.  I will write in here again soon; sorry it's been a while!  Now you know why I haven't written!

God bless and talk to you soon!

~Stinko. :)
